I think you’re right there rakkibeth – I don’t usually drink milk – not even in my tea, I prefer it black.
Are we twins? !!!
Robyn297 – Congrats on your scan and having a little boy!!
Jedi – you’re next on the list for your scan. It’s 2 days before mine. I know you’ve got to have some checks on the baby because of your OH’s nephew but are you planning on finding out the sex too? Good luck for it.
Mrs Excited - i was just looking down the list and noticed you are fridaywe arent going to find out the sex, i think it will be nice just to know everything is fine. although the further along in pregnancy i get the more i think i am worrying over nothing. baby moves all the time now, feels like a popping in my stomach.
will be a big suspense waiting for the birth and finding out the sex - i have been told by my mum she is relying on me having a girl! thats because she has 3 grandsons but either sex doesnt matter to me.

Feeling guilty as hell. Hubby hasn't had sex for 6 weeks. Although every fortnight I have given him some other sexual activity. I have that urgh I so have to give in soon feeling. I don't like sex at the best of times :-s
my libido has never been so low since getting pregnant, i just dont feel the urge as much - must be the hormones, hopefully they will return back to normal after baby is born.:jMarried 16/07/2010, ds1 born 11/08/12, baby due 08/05/20150 -
i brought my first maternity bras yesterday - have had backache and soreness under my breasts for the past week so have had to go for some non wire ones. i am 5 months on monday, so lasted well in my normal bras. my boobs are small though. just got a 2 pack of maternity/nursing bras from h& m for £15.
Also got a pair of work trousers half price at mothercare in their sale for £12 - they feel so comfy cant wait to wear them to work on monday
attending a NCT sale next saturday and hope to pick up some more maternity clothes there
welcome to new mothers to the thread.:jMarried 16/07/2010, ds1 born 11/08/12, baby due 08/05/20150 -
Finally got over my hurdle of buying baby stuff and went a bit bonkers today in mothercare and John Lewis.
Plus it's the OH's birthday soon. He doesn't want anything (he never does) but I've bought a tiny newborn bodysuit with I :heart2: My Daddy on it. Baby clothes with writing is not really my cup of tea but I know the OH will love it. I expect he'll burst into tears. He usually does... when I told him I was pregnant, all three scans, first time he heard heartbeat, first time he felt a kick... he's sobbed every time"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Hi ladies, I'm moving over from the 12 week thread. Had my scan yesterday and have been moved forward a week to 13+5 (today). So have EDD of 10th September.
I also got told the good news that I'm being classed as low risk (yes!!!). Was a bit of a concern because my BMI is only 18.3 (it's always been low), as a result of the lung disease I have. So both of those things could have been enough to put me at high risk. Fingers crossed though, as long as I put on weight correctly and I don't pick up a chest infection I'll manage to stay low risk. They did say it was subject to change though.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Ah Twinklie and Fluffnutter, nice to see you both over here :-)
I'm also coming over from the less than 12 weeks thread. Had my dating scan yday and I'm now 13+4 so my edd has moved forward 10 days to 12/9 :-)
Now we know everything's going ok I got remeasured for bras too and treated myself to a few new bits. Don't want to buy too many as there's still plenty of time to get bigger. Also got a couple of maternity jeans in new look going cheap. My "normal" ones were getting a bit tight. They're so comfy.
Now I have relaxed a bit and am getting excited hopefully I'll be a bit more active on here, looking forward to getting to know everyone.

OH felt baby kick this morning, was kicking a bit further up the stomach about a cm below belly button and he felt it20 weeks tomorrowwwww!
i have had a lot of pregnancy attention today, i am worn out with it - went to an engagement party for OHs brother just a little get together but people kept asking me about baby. i tried to steer the subject away as we were there to celebrate their engagement but people have an obsession with babies.
feeling tired now, need a good sleep tonight ready for work tomorrow
hope everyones weekends have been enjoyable

Omg I need a bra that fits. Moan moan moan. Is that so hard to find. Need a moulded non underwired cos I'm so well endowed, a soft cup one would leave them around my belly button. Bravissimo have none. Mother are keep misfiring me. Any suggestions girls? Pre pregnancy I was a 32g and they measuring me now as a supposed 34f but keep fitting me in 36g bras!!!
I agree with whoever said Debenhams, and they do fitting too. I got a moulded cup maternity bra there in a 36f. I was once a 30f (sigh) and am now wearing a 36ff or a 34g! Mothercare were awful, tried to tell me that instead of the 36f they didn't have, I could go down to a 34e, I had to explain to the (supposedly trained) lady that it's down a back size up a cup size! And those actually in my size I picked up on Ebay have been awful, no definition, so you end up with one big superboob.0 -
I tried debenhams first but they misfitted me too. I am very fussy when it comes to bras too has to be plain. Noace and moulded. Wish this boob sensitivity would go. My nipples are so sore.
On plus side libido is through the roof still. Knavkersd this weekend. Had friend visiting from
Home. One late night = one exhausted mummy but it was my birthday. Hit the big 28 eek!
Off to bed now busy day at Uni tomorrow.love you lots like jelly tots0
