i'm not sure. i know of some who have had 5 or 6.
i guess if you had 3 and say that was the limit, if you fell preg accidently the hospital coulnd't make u get rid of baby.
but i guess as they class it as major surgery then there is almost gonna be more risk with the more you have.
Most places say 5 is maximum at the moment.. it used to be 3 but there have been so many improvements in techniques etc they upped it to 5 mostly.. I know a lady who had 6.. she was sterilised after number 4.. fell pregnant again and was resterilised.. then fell pregnant again and finally had a girl after 5 boys.. they removed her fallopian tubes then!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi and hope everyone is well!
Welcome to Angel and Little Angel, bet you are excited and lots to think about - join the crew, we're all obsessing about one thing or another - whether it's finances, buying stuff, not feeling obsessive enough, work... so much to think about!
I am on hols at the mo so feels lovely to be able to do what I want when i want and I know hubby is enjoying it too... last week we will be able to properly before Sweetpea arrives.
Sequeena so glad to hear from you and hope you got all the info you needed from the appointment.
Our scan is this Friday morning, very excited but trying not to wish it away so doing various bits tomorrow - swimming in the morning then maybe gardening and relaxing then a dinner out and comedy show in the evening.
Friday if we are able to find out the sex we will go baby shopping for a few things but not go nuts sort of thing.
STILL loving the soft wine gums, can't get enough of them...:):)

good luck. hope all goes well!
my first item of maternity clothing arrived today:T my next over the bump maternity jeans - not that i have a proper bump yet, it's just fat and bloat- but my normal jeans were just so uncomfortable and these new ones are very comfy, they don't look too bad either even if they are a little bit boyfriend baggy jean for me, i don't care cos i can sit down in them! :rotfl:
i'm having a bit of a rough all day sickness week, which is annoying as things had eased up loads and i was feeling slightly more human, but now i'm back to being exhausted and queasy 24/7. hope it lifts as it's my birthday tomorrow and i'm going out to dinner.0 -
hi Ladies!
just a quickie from me (at work), hope everyone is feeling positive and getting good pg vibes!
I had my 2nd MW appt this morning and heard bean's heartbeat for the first time. Amazing! she guessed it was between 120 and 140bpm, so according to the old wives tale it's a boy
Did some food shopping after and saw that Prima&Baby have a money off voucher thing for a breast pump from Boots - I think it might have been £20 ... now I'm thinking that's a lot, maybe baby brain didn't register is properly. There were also a couple of magazines with % off deals, so maybe worth a look. I don't normally bother with magazines, so I just scanned over them.
Ok better go before boss sees all the smileys
Have a good day!0 -
Sodding baby wouldnt open his legs. Pretty sure its a boy, and she said she thought it was. He was punching the ultrasound stick thing and wriggling, probably because she was pressing VERY HARD. then again I have a layer of fat she has to get through....
He was turning over and around and all that. Is the scan a mirror image ? as in his head is on the right of the photo so is he on the right of my body? argh!Money money money.

Hi Abby congrats - wow looks like we had the same day and the same results - we're having a boy too! Was v surprised as I thought it was a girl...
So happy - we have 3 nieces and this will be the first baby boy for the family so my mum is thrilled to have a grandson.
All is healthy and we got lots of ticks on the 20 week list, so all good and I guess next time we see them won't be on a screen anymore - scary!
We bought a top in Next that says 'H' Handsome like my Daddy, it's blue and so sweet... plus all the clothes we got in a bag from Freecycle were boys, so we had a look through when we got home and must be £120 worth in there, so fortunate.
Hope everyone is well and things are progressing calmly!:):)
