Great Pic Abbey! my friend had her 20 week scan last week and her baby had its legs shut firm too!

We have had our 20 week scan today and were having a boy! :D

Very happy, cannot wait to start buying now, now we know that everything is good.

Sparkle- hope your scan went well today too xx

Hi girls! Congrats on your scans Abbey and Sparkle! I'm sure we're having boy too because according to the old wives tale the bubs heartrate of 145 is a boy. Mw said that too! It's a bit weird because I envisaged myself with a daughter but obviously I'll be happy with whatever we have.

I haven't really got much to report my end. Still no feelings of bubs but I'm still only 17 weeks so there's plenty of time yet.

My bub's heart rate has been 148bpm, 145bpm and 140bpm the last two occasions I visited MW. I'm having a boy :)

    Hi, thought I'd introduce myself!

I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant...scan is on wednesday, will FINALLY get to find out what Sessys is (our bump is named after a sesame seed lol, a video we watched said that was roughly what size baby was and the name just stuck). I have an awkward little so-n-so, forever wriggling about when I'm at work and oh so chill when i'm bored out my brains and have nothing to do. I believe I'll be having a boy too, think he's awkward like his father. I have a feeling he'll decide to hide on wednesday but we've decided if thats the case we'll go private and find out..no suprises!!

Well thats enough from us now, just realised how much i've been talking :rotfl: i need somebody to talk to in the silly hours whilst hubs is at work! Sessy ignores me...

Good morning, stupid bladder woke me up. Grrrrrr!

Hi, welcome and congrats Sessy! It's funny how many of us are expecting boys - is it just his naughty-ness that's making you think he's a mini me of your DH or anything else?

Angel OMG what horrible hours you're stuck with. I hope you like your job?!

I've had a funny feeling which might be bubs. It feels like when you go over a hump bridge on a road or a roller coaster, as though your stomach has been left behind. Could it be bubs?

    Happy Saturday everyone x

    Hi all,
Congrats Pookie and welcome Sessy - wow yes lots of team blue going on, we need some team pink to balance the hormones out eh! Good luck for Wednesday Sessy and remember they can still surprise you as they did us, we were convinced it was a girl... plus... for 20 week scan no need to have a full bladder, but, don't get to the hospital and go straight to the loo sort of thing either...

Been quite producting this morning - we picked up some nursery furniture from ebay that cost the lady £500 new, a changing dresser and a wardrobe, got them for £50! Very heavy quality wood and the range is called East Coast, white shabby chic look... THEN she offered us a bag of boys clothing AND later on called us to say her sis in law has a maxi cosi we can have for nothing and pick up Monday! I feel so happy that people are so generous, it's amazing and so fortunate, we're still in shock as it would have all cost so much. She also recommended and showed us her MacLaren pushchair, called Techno XT, which we have now bought with code JLK for 10% off Mothercare, it's lightweight and I am so excited to have it coming.

All in all what a great day, now though I am shattered after all the excitement!

DogLover yeah i'd say that could be bubs, as if it's anything you wouldn't feel in the normal course of a day, it's likely they're making themselves known! I am feeling bubs more regularly now, not just in the morning, can feel the odd movement during the day too. No kicks but def butterfly flutters here and there, amazing feeling... will become more pronounced in the next 1-2 weeks so am hoping hubby can feel him soon too.

Anyone seen Apricot lately? Maybe she's on the other thread, must catch up...
