Hi all - Need a sound off. Sorry it's going to be moany but I must not keep it in for the good of me and the baby. Have been trying to speak to my mum for weeks now both by text and through her bf over msn. But he has been going offline when I speak and she had ignored texts! She only ever really contacts me through him and only when they want something. I had texted her to let her know we were going to do some baby shopping as she wanted to come but she never replied - after she asked to come! And i'm annoyed as my sister is not in contact with my mum and wont let mum see her little boy and but she had been ok with letting me show mum photos of him. So I had sent her some and she got annoyed that I had. Changes her mind every 5 minutes. I know mum doesn't really care in regards to me being pregnant but she would deffo meet up with sister if it was her as she has always been the family favourite. Grrr. I just feel like I don't know why I bother trying to keep her in the family loop when she then doesn't want to contact me at all! I officially give up ... rant over.0

Sorry...what are scoots?
Does anyone else worry that they are going to end up massive? I am only 15+6 and my belly seems to be getting bigger daily. I swear today that it has popped out further than my 2 sizes bigger than normal b**bs. Normally i have a flat tum so this is really freaky to me!!
I'm gonna be a giant heffalump!:rotfl:0 -
Mrs e, I thought I would end up huuuuuge as like you I seemed to grow quite quickly early on. I was worried a dress I had might not fit me for a special meal at 19weeks but actually it would probably still fit me now at 30 weeks!! I think you probably just have growth spurts, I suddenly felt huge yesterday but not so bad today!0

If you're naturally very slim, you often show early simply because your growing uterus isn't 'absorbed' into your fat.
I've always had a tum, and didn't start looking pregnant until about 19 weeks, when suddenly I got the very distinct pregnant shape.
Don't worry about the size of your bump. It has no real bearing on the size of your baby, nor does it have any impact on how quickly you'll get your figure back (if this is worrying you).
Just eat well and exercise gently."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

Thanks, this is really reassuring to hear guys! I must say that I love having a bump and feel lucky to have shown so early but the thought of waddling around like a baby elephant for months is a bit scary! I feel better now! cheers0 -
