I might have gone a bit ott with shopping but we've managed to save a lot of money.

So far we have : rocking crib (present from in-laws)
Cot bed brand new with new mattress - £60 ebay
Graco tour deluxe travel system with everything included (2nd hand £40)
Gliding nursing chair with stool - £30 (2nd hand)
    Bouncy chair - £5 (2nd hand)

    That's it so far!

That is very good!!!! I would love the gliding nursing chair - will need to see how we manage for space in the nursery though, as with two cots it might be a bit more tight.

Wow great bargains, well done you.

I want a gliding chair too.

We have everything from DS1 so I have not spent much at all apart from second hand mamas and papas changing table. Got pram, cot, moses basket, neutral sleepsuits, steriliser, neutral bedding and cot bumper, car seat, etc already.

Thats a lovely name ST! We should be finding out on Monday if ours is a boy or a girl, can't wait.

We've been lucky and are getting alot of stuff secondhand free from friends and family, so far got the travel system, cot, travel cot sorted and a whole pile of clothes (if its a girl anyway!) Haven't actually bought anything yet - I'm really bad at positive thinking and keep getting convinced something will go wrong :( After Monday if everything is ok I'm planning on getting one little outfit though ;) then leaving the rest til after xmas

I have been very tight lipped about the name we have chosen for our pink baby but our choice is VERY similar to yours!

I have lots of boys names picked but won't decide until I actually see the little monkey. I think sometimes babies look like they suit a certain name but I could just be barmy.

Lovely name snoopy. We have first and middle names picked for both a boy or a girl as we're team yellow but we're not telling anyone, even our parents as we don't want anyone coming up with stuff to put us off them! once baby is here and named hopefully they will keep quiet if they're not keen! They're all normal quite traditional names anyway so not really anything to dislike!

21 weeks today and baby is kicking like mad now! My poor pelvis is still not happy after the yoga though, sitting at my desk is the most uncomfortable thing, shame its the place I spend most time each day, thank god its the weekend!!

Out for a christmas get together with work tonight, going for a curry but not 'till 9.30pm!!! The others are meeting for drinks about now but I'm waiting till DH finishes work then we'll go together as I don't much fancy standing (or even sitting!) in a busy pub with my bump, my poorly pelvis and a soft drink!! Only trouble is, I'm shattered and will be ready for bed by the time we get fed!

hello everyone, hope you're all ok.

I see that a few of you have been talking about pillows. Last week I bought one of these off ebay, similar to the mothercare on but much cheaper! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380369947969?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3854wt_1139

I've had real problems with my back (long term but much worse since about 8 weeks pregnant), and I think this has helped. I wouldn't say it's a miracle-worker, but it is comfy having something between your knees and ankles, and I sort of cuddle it too, which is cosy :) I figured that it wasn't too pricey, so worth trying, and I'm glad I did.

I'm now 14w+1d. Does/has anyone had quite a lot of pain in your tummy? I've found that in the last week, I'm getting quite uncomfortable pains on-and-off between my belly button and public bone :o It's hard to describe - feels kind of like a cross between period pain and that feeling of having a painfully full bladder (even if I've just been to the loo). Is that just my uterus expanding, do you think? It's hard not to worry, even though I'm sure it's fine as it's not severe, and I haven't had any bleeding at any point. I had a urine test last week and that came back normal, so it can't be a UTI.

lisa - love your bump :) I def have a bump already, although you wouldn't notice it unless I'm wearing close-fitting clothes. I think I'm going to be a whale as I'm very short, and have a particularly short torso, so there's nowhere for it to go except outwards....!
