Yes, that's my type of Christmas too! I've vegetarian so the cheese board is always what I over indulge in! Along with the drink!
I actually had a argument with my husband in our new Sainsbury's the other day... I found brie made from pasturised milk and got all excited but he wouldn't let me get it cos he says its soft cheese full stop that pregnant woman should avoid, and also and there was a sign up in the cheese section about pregant women avoiding soft cheese, which he used to back up his claim.
I said it was just soft cheese using unpasturised milk... I'm still convinced I'm right..
re foods I seem to like at the moment... again like other have said it stuff like mashed potatoes, baked potatoes and cheese toasties that I have wanted!
So far at my scans (one at 10 weeks and one at 13 weeks) we've had our photos free and not even a mention of a donation. Thats Ayrshire and Arran health board in Scotland.0 -
Had a bright red bleed this morning with cramps and went to A&E.
Quick scan showed heart beat and the little !!!!!! moving around loads!
Already booked in for scan at EPU tomorrow at 9:45 from yesterdays drama.

I have to admit I am feeling a bit paranoid. I have not felt movement, have no symptoms, appear to have lost weight. scared!
Trying to contain myself but if I sit and think about it I get so worried. eeek0 -
Hello, can I join please?
I've been lurking for the past couple of weeks or so and it only seems polite to introduce myself, although I don't know how much I'll post.
I'm 18+3 today, first baby. EDD 8 May 2012, got the 20 week scan 19th December and CANNOT WAIT to see him/her again and make sure everything is as it should be.
Hope everything is ok at your scan tomorrow thriftygal, atleast you got to hear the heartbeat this morning.Newborn thread member

Gtothec - I think everyone feels paranoid and it's completely normal. I didn't feel any movements til a couple of weeks ago and now at 21 weeks it's like a merry go round in there. People feel different things depending on position of baby, placenta etc. I also lost about 6lb between 8 weeks and now so it does happen.
Hope everyone else is having a good day.DS1 born June 2000

Welcome Katie and congrats x
Bleeding seems to have stopped. It went a lot darker which I think is a good sign. Fingers crossed.[STRIKE]Debt 2010 £74,000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Debt 2012 £42,000[/STRIKE] Debt Jan 2013 £38558 Baby boy born 19/05/20120 -

Welcome Katie :0)
Good luck tomorrow thrifty, glad the bleeding has stopped and your scan today went well.
All the best for tomorrow Snoopy - I know I wont get any sleep tonight, far too excited!! Me and OH spent ages feeling baby kicking and wriggling last night, it was wonderful and OH is already becoming a very doting loving Daddy.
Have any of you got a christmas pressie from the bump to your OH? I have got something small but wasn't sure if it is a silly idea?0 -
Good luck tomorrow Laura.
