I said it was just soft cheese using unpasturised milk... I'm still convinced I'm right..

According to the NHS website pregnant women should avoid soft cheese unless it's cooked because they're less acidic and contain more water than hard cheeses and so are more likely to contain listeria.

Had a bright red bleed this morning with cramps and went to A&E.

Quick scan showed heart beat and the little !!!!!! moving around loads!

Already booked in for scan at EPU tomorrow at 9:45 from yesterdays drama.

So worried about my splodge :(

    *lots of hugs*
It must've been a relief to hear the heart beat.
I had a panic at 9 weeks because I had a lot of pain and my midwife was worried I was having an ectopic pregnancy. It was terrifying but I got an urgent scan and nearly cried when I heard the heart beat.
Please let us know how the scan tomorrow goes.

The scan yesterday went well, they put EDD to June 13th from the 17th as well. Both babies measured almost the same (70.9 and 71.2mm), 13w+2. I know I will not be allowed to reach that date anyway, so will just take what I am given.

The midwife was quite chuffed, as her son had twins, they were from the same IVF clinic, due on the same day (different year) - they were born on May 10th. I hope I could go on just a bit longer (it w0uld be just over 35 weeks).

    Great news ginvzt!

Good luck thriftygal...I'm sure everything will be fine but a second scan in 2 days will be a nice way to keep you calm. Can we take rescue remdy when we are pregnant? If so, maybe some of that would be a good idea for you.

Great news Ginvzt!! So lovely you are having twins, I half wish I was just to get having babies done and dusted as even though I've not had any complications I just want it over and done with.

PS I read your other post on the the big thread, and next time youre in i'd get them to take your BP. I've had mine taken everytime i've been in so not sure why they are overlooking that part for you... Especially if have a history of high BP as well :s

I'm stalking you all the way through your pregnancy as i'm so interested in twinnies!! So nice!!! :D

Good luck to laura and snoopy for your scans today!! How exciting!!

    Gops x

The midwife admitted defeat on my BP... for some reason all the doctor's surgery automatic machines refuse to work on me - so she was like "Oh you're up the hospital next week can you get them to check it for you" and this time she resorted to the old-school manual way! I don't know why the machines hate me but they do!
Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!

I really thought taking your BP was really important during pregnancy. IMO they should take it however they can to get a reading old fashioned way or any way, i doesn't matter so long as its taken!
