I eat lots of fruit and veg and have normal balanced dinners but have become a bit of a chocolate addict! Especially Twix. I didnt really eat chocolate before being pregnant - just hope it doesnt take its toll on my figure lol! Doesn't help that people keep bringing tins of roses, heros etc in the office now its getting near Christmas.
You see, I am oposite, I quite liked chocolate before, but now I have a lot at home, and it is just there, until OH gets to it. I have some still left from Halloween (cadbury's heroes and celebrations).Mmmmm I LOVE sprouts - but then I always have
I used to love them too, but not since getting pregnant!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I've always loved chocolate! In the first 12-18 weeks though, I was all savoury - crisps, sandwiches and cheese toasties, that sort of thing. Now chocolate is very much back on the "want" listTTC #3..........0

Right, I better save some then. My mum is making duck for Christmas this year, and I am really looking forward to that - nice roast duck with sauerkraut...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Are there any old wives tales that connect certain foods with certain sexes?
Avocadoes will be great for you Charli, hmm, would mind a nice bacon , tom and avo. salad now0 -
you ladies are making me hungry now, and have to wait for hubby to come home before I can eat my tea, and I have it cooked, and smelling delicious already, oh well, only another half an hour.
That's the other thing - one minute I can't stand the idea of food at all, the next I could eat a scabby horse, and get a headache until I do eat - I am loving being pregnant, but cannot wait to be in charge of my body again lol.
Oh and one more thing, to me christmas is not about turkey and trimmings, and presents (yes I know it is really not about them at all) but to me it is about Brie, Camembert, Stilton, Smoked Salmon and ALL THE THINGS I CAN'T HAVE including wine and brandy and champagne (sighs loudly) - I might have another christmas in May!!!! x x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -
Just back from the midwife for my 16 week check - because she could see I was worried she got the doppler out and found the hearbeat, accompanied by a few most indignant kicks (I'm rapidly getting the impression there's a little primadonna in there and the terrible twos are going to be incredibly fun)! Apart from some blood in my urine everything appears OK as far as they can tell - uterus where it should be and all that stuff.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

You can have a birth party with everything you've wanted to eat but cannot while pregnant
I think I'm quite lucky in that I've been mostly able to keep quiet about my pregnancy without anyone guessing because I generally don't drink alcohol, I don't like unpasturised cheeses and I very rarely eat pate.
Though did have to tell a couple of friends why I wasn't partaking when we went to a whisky society evening which I'd been looking forward to for months before finding out I was pregnant a week earlier.
The occassional whisky and tea are the only things I miss - I still drink tea but it's strictly limited whereas prior to TTC I was drinking ~2-3pints a day.
But it'll be very much worth it for having a child in 6 months time0
