Mine was being lively last night as well, OH got to feel 3 kicks and loved it :0) Definately feeling it more now and got a big old bump already which I love to bits!
The NCT ones sound really good but I have to save every penny I can to coer the bills while on maternity leave :0( We are doing the NHS ones at our doctors surgery, just 2 2 hour sessions on 24th Feb and 2nd March. I am hoping that will be enough!
Any one got anything exciting planned for the weekend?0 -
It really differs depending on where you are, it seems. I was planning on doing NCT and NHS, but when I booked my NHS classes, they seemed amazing. I have 5 classes of 2 and a half hours, and they seem really quite in depth, well from the itinerary I have. 4 couples at a time apparently, she said, so it's quite a small group too.The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Welcome to those who has just turned 12 weeks. It goes so fast so enjoy, I am almost 24 weeks and I remember 22nd July, finding out we were gonna have a new baby as being yesterday!! x0 -
We didn't book ours until about 3 weeks ago Flutterby_lil, but they advise you to have started them by 32 weeks here, as there are 5 weeks of them, think it'l depend on how many your area has though. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

We had to book the NHS ones at our booking appointment, 5weeks, 2hour sessions and a tour but we were the last group to get a tour, they don't do them anymore (that was 2years ago). The sessions were 5 weeks before my due date. They were great apart from the breastfeeding one which was worse than bad but the normal tutor was off ill.
I didn't do the NCT ones but one of my friends complained about the breastfeeding section at hers because it didn't cover the realities of breastfeeding or any of the problems that can arise and how to deal with them. But don't worry, you can always come on here and ask me or go to breastfeeding cafes or look at some of the good websites like the breastfeeding network or kellymomMum to DD born Oct 2009

Hello all,
of those of you who've had their 12 week 'dating' scan how many have had their EDD changed? If it was changed, was it changed by much?
Also if you had nuchal translucency screening test for Down's Syndrome at this scan how long did it take to get the results? Do they give you an idea while you're still in the scan room or do you have to wait until the official results?
I've got my scan tomorrow (excited!) so will I guess find out the answers to my questions in relation to my baby but I wondered what everyone else's experiences have been.0 -
My date was changed by 2 weeks  which I couldn't understand as I know exactly when our baby was conceived
but it meant I got to go back for another scan at 13 weeks so wasn't complaining, and it took me out of January, didn't want a January baby
too many birthdays for my liking in that month.
I didn't have the nuchal done or the 16 week bloods xxThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0
