  • I got a pair of over the bump trousers from peacocks about 4 weeks ago. They re bootcut so perfect for work. They re not the nicest fabric to be honest but they are comfy and they look smart so Im happy.
Im supposed to be going to a weddng 3 weeks before my due date (In Cornwall when I live in Essex!) sooo not looking forward to that journey.
I have no idea what to wear though as I think I'll be the size of a small bungalow by then!! Eeek!!

I sympathise Charli, my little sis gets married a week after my due date  needless to say I'll be leaving the shopping til later on, but it plays on my mind!
  • Eek Amymo thats even worse!

LOL not much we can really do I guess but go with the flow and see what happens, how we are and how big we are!
  • Well. the Downs test came back as low risk 1 in 1,500 so that's something positive today.

    That's great :)

We couldn't get it done at our scan as the baby would not sit right :rotfl::rotfl: so I have to go for a blood test in a few weeks,

I am sooooo glad morning sickness seems to be gone :D I am just really tired all the time.

On Sun morn I had a look round ebay for maternity clothes, put a few bids on and ended up winning them all  but for 20 quid I got 2 dresses and jeans. Got the jeans so far, Topshop maternity jeans, they are great. Can't really believe I have a bump now with so long to go it fries my brain to think how big it will get!! :D

Hope you are all well :)

Urgh, I'm delivering more training for work tomorrow and I get super socially anxious at the best of times, it's the only thing about my job that I hate and I really need to relax about it for LO as I'm not sure a whole day of Mammy on edge will be very nice in there, I'm already dreading it, am doing some internet christmas shopping to distract myself, 25% student discount at ASOS will do nicely!

Got a lovely hoodie for DH and a few maternity tops to put away for myself, I really need something for the work Christmas party but might have something in my wardrobe I can make work to save a few pennies!

I have a wedding to go to a week after my due date too.....could be fun!
  • So what do you all think to the ruling that you are allowed to opt for a caesarean? Personally I think the decision is mad!!! Firstly the NHS is struggling as it is to give necessary treatment to people that need it and secondly it is a serious surgical procedure that will have you laid up for 6 weeks after the birth. Why on earth would you have one if it wasn't absolutely necessary???? Not just me is it?

Legal Blonde I wouldn't worry too much about a big bump, to start with my bump was really big for my gestation but it's evened out now and quite small, even though my baby is measuring rather large. So it can even out :)

Not to mention the facts that were published yesterday about C Section babies having fattier livers than vaginal births. If you have to then it's a no brainer, but to choose it, it baffles me.

  • Ooo I didnt see that Gillyx. I would only ever have one if it were necessary, I didnt cope well with getting my belly button pierced so would probably pass out with a c-section!

Just had my DP stuff delivered, all looks ok but the arms are quite long! I got the jumper and coat in a 6 thinking they would fit better but still looks like they drown me a bit! Oh well, with a bit of luck pregnancy will make my arms grow lol! Could do with a maternity petite range, I'm only 5ft 1 :0)
