Oooh me and my hubby both have chemistry degrees. ! never thought of looking at the periodic table for name inspiration. Hmmm, not sure that Baby Manganese has the right sort of ring to it though!!!

My parents last night decided as I'm due in May, and there'll be an election then (they're both in local politics) - Election or Labour were good name choices for the baby.

    Am considering disowning my family...

The baby's father, well since his work team finally got busted for making geeky amusing names for software processes that abbreviate into geek references (they've got a VADER and a GLADOS)... holding up minimal hope of sensible name suggestions there too.

I need a quick help - is rennie safe in pregnancy? I am fighting heartburn, and hope that can take it to help. And not on a good note, I still have pasta with tomato sauce to eat for my late lunch (I can't throw it away - already lots of food went that way...)

  • Rennies/gaviscon etc all ok as don't go into your blood stream but you can get them free on your NHS free exemption certificate if you get a doctors appt.

Thanks, sir monster - I just have some at home (without the leaflet) and was hoping I can take it. I am not sufferring with it as yet, it is just that indulged myself with the herring in tomato sauce followed by toasted waffles with most amazing apricot jam and then a toast with butter an jam as well... It was 3 hours ago now, and the heartburn is not going anywhere, so drastic measures need...

Very safe. I'd try milk too, it's my fail safe method at the moment :o 2 rennies and a half pint of milk.

Check the packet just to be sure, but I took fruit Rennies, and I'm sure I would've checked very carefully first! :)

Welcome to the board !!!!!! How far along are you?

I've been taking gaviscon as I've had crappy indigestion quite a lot too. Randomly, it mostly worse before I've eaten that after I've eaten, and I am eating fairly often, so I'm not starving or anything :rotfl:

Got a call to confirm that the moses basket and nursing chair are being delivered on Wednesday next week. Can't wait! :D
