Happydays I wouldn't worry. I only started feeling baby move at around 23-24wks. I've since discovered after going through my maternity notes, that my placenta is anterior high, which means I won't feel as much movement as most. And I reckon some babies are just more active than othersDFD February 2012

I am feeling my baby move lots now at 16+5 and have been since about 15 weeks. I was very suprised at my 16 week scan to find that my placenta is also 'anterior high' as I know this tends to mean you don't feel anything until later.
Just worked out I have 76 days left to work!!! Not sure how I have less than you SnoopyTweety unless you have less holidays than me and/or are leaving closer to your due date than me!0 -

When I saw the Consultant last week and she asked me about baby's movements she said the worse think you can do is ask other pregnant ladies and compare! Everybodies perception of 'moving a lot' is very different! If you are worried called your midwife, I started feeling movement around 22 weeks (I also had an anterior placenta). I remember I got to 23 weeks and for the first time in a week I had no movements for a whole day, I called the delivery suite and she told me not to worry about it and it was only when you got to 26 weeks plus that you should worry if you go all day without movement.
I think I have a lazy baby as I don't feel much during the day, but if I sit down and drink a cold milkshake that gets things moving!
Pregnancy is such a worry, but call your midwife if you are really concerned, that is what they are there for!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:
