Sounds very reasonable to me. At the one near me it is £97 and comes with 5 black & white photos. You can get the whole package including 10 minute DVD and CD-Rom with 8 3D colour images for £1600

I had a scan with the NHS yesterday and the lovely consultant let us see baby for about 10 minutes in 4D, it still creeps me out though
ha.
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Ooo lovely. They were asking for people to take part in a study at the maternity hospital I go to but I opted out as this is our first pregnancy and I want it to be more personal. I wish I had done it now though as you get extra scans for free :0( Oh well.
I will probably pay to have a private one done at about 28 weeks as my 20 week scan is 8th december and I cant wait a whole 4 months to see baby again!!0 -
Not sure why she let us yesterday, I wouldn't have bothered either way, the 4D pictures are creepy imo
You never know, you may end up getting more scans, I did!The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

I found a dress!!
after spending 1h in debenhams and 2h in tk maxx ( i'm very patient!) i ended up finding it in BHS of all places - in the dorothy perkins section. it's a soft grey tulip dress with an all-over butterfly/ladybird print (only the black outlines - looks a bit like lace) cap sleeves and square neckline . it has a band that comes under the bust and because of the pleats and the tulip shape it will accomodate a growing bump beautifully! and it's knee length. i was thinking of pairing it with a feathery shrug (or a furry one) depends on what ebay offers.
best feature of the dress? it was £15
speaking of ultrasounds, we're thinking of going for a 4d scan as well. this is what ours offers
"Credit Crunch Special

During the scan, a DVD will be recorded which you will be able to take away afterwards and play through any standard DVD player or computer DVD software. Also included is a CD of Still Images and glossy prints of the best still photographs."
not too bad for the price!0 -
Dress sounds lovely Alizee. I'm off to Lakeside with my sister tomorrow to buy some maternity clothes. I can still get in to my normal stuff but it is getting uncomfortable.
Stupid question coming up.................my bras are too tight and giving me four boobs now, am I right in thinking I can just buy normal bigger sized bras up till baby comes out then change to nursing ones? I had a look at some maternity ones on line but they look horrible :0(, also is it ok to wear underwired ones as most of the maternity and nursing ones are non-underwired?0 -

They really dont recommend wearing underwired bras at all during late PG and afterwards, as the wires can do things to the milk ducts. I've been in non underwire bras since about month 4 due to boob expansion and not being comfy in "normal" bras, and switched to maternity/bursing bras about month 6! You could try finding a non underwire "normal" bra instead.. especially useful if you have to wear it at night, which is pretty common during PG !Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!
