    Thanks Gilly :)
That helps loads - mine has been completely different to yours so far :)
    5 1/2 weeks - dr to confirm
    9weeks - early bird appointment
11weeks - booking in appointment midwife routine blood tests
    13weeks 2 days - Scan at hospital
16weeks - midwife appointment and quad blood test
    20weeks 1day- 20week scan
24 or 25 weeks (have to check - back tothe midwife)

Think its cause I seemed to have a lot of appointments within 5weeks :s ah well Im sure ill end up moaning when they happen all the time

I think it all depends on your area, and what type of care you have. Towards the end I think you'l be bored of all the appointments.

I was hovering between DD and E pre pregnancy, and i'm now firmly and F (lordy!), and have been fine with the non wired. They DO fit differently, and give a different shape to my boobies than any underwire, but they are SOOOOOOO much more comfortable! I've now bought 2 h cups as well(double EEK) for when i give birth and my milk (hopefully) comes in.

It will come in :) Only one per cent of women have a medical problem that prevents them from breastfeeding so you should be fine. Most problems are caused by incorrect positioning and attachment, and there are lots of helplines you can call for help with that as well as local drop-ins.

As for bras, the underwires might seem like they are no where near the milk ducts, but the ducts extend quite a way in your breasts and the wire can cause blocked ducts, so it is better to have a proper maternity bra with good support. Hotmilk do some very sexy feeding bras, as does elle MacPherson, so it's worth shopping around. You don;t have to wear an old-lady-style bra!

    Hi lovely ladies,

I'm in a Mothercare maternity bra which I got two weeks ago at 13 weeks, but it's already a little tight so I'm glad I didn't get more than one but having to keep washing and drying it overnight is getting to be a bit of a chore!

I just wondered whether some of you who have had stretching pains would mind describing them, the last two days I have had a pulling sensation when I'm up and about on the left side, sometimes painful, mainly uncomfortable, am not sure if it's a stretching feeling as it's a bit crampy too which has me a bit worried and my What to Expect book doesn't say much about it either! I'm 15 weeks. x

Guess I need to bite the bullet and go get measured somewhere then really :s
tempted to order a sleep bra from mothercare.

Can I ask a question - midwife appointments? I had a 16 week appointment and not down to see her again now until 24/25weeks? is this normal - no idea where my purple book is to look in there - but just seen on the bbc pregnancy week view thing - you will probably have a routine antenatal appointment around now :S Just my scan lined up for next week and thats it until December

I had a midwife appt at 8 weeks for booking in.
    I had 12 week scan
I then saw midwife at 17 weeks.
Had scan today at 19 weeks.
Next midwife appt is on 22nd Nov at 22 weeks so it seems pretty normal to me.

Had scan today - didn't want to find out sex, good job we didn't as the little mite was very awkward - wouldn't uncurl, just led sucking thumb. Got a cracking picture. Scan lasted about 45 mins. MW sent me to empty my bladder so she could get more room to stretch baby out so she could get heart measurements. So we remain team yellow :)

phunkles, for me I have MW appointments at 8 weeks, 16 weeks and then at 24 weeks. She said that they used to have a 20 week one, but as you get your scan then, they don't do this anymore. The next one for me is next week at 28 weeks. She did say if at any time, I wanted to see them in between, just to call and we can book extra ones in. :)

    Thanks Twigpig x
I been nosing in my notes and theres actually a drop in session 2 afternoons a week where anyone can go for a general check, not that I want to see them really. Just seemed ages to go between appointments.

Well I suppose I should go and start packing for the weekend :( no body best touch my bump :(
