I went to M&S and went from a 36C to 38DD/E when I was about 15 weeks. The nice lady told me that I'd need to go back in a couple of months and get measured again, I can't imagine I get any bigger (OH loves the new glamour model size :D though).

I've got 4 non wired bras, 2 super support ones for the gym and 2 which have the clips on for breast feeding.
    Got married 13/11/10 :)

    DD2 born 28/11/13 :D
  • I went to Mothercare at 9 weeks as all my underwired bra's were killing me, and I had gone up from a 38C to a 38E! The two non underwired bra's that were comfiest are nursing bra's - they have 3 settings at the back, I am still on the first - so plenty of room to grow there, and also cup wise they have plenty of room to let me fill out, so hopefully will last - I couldn't believe how big they got, and how quickly though, I am 16 weeks now, and can feel them growing again, my hubby is also very happy with the new look - I asked him if he wanted to carry them yesterday, cause it feels like they weigh a stone each, to which he shut up fairly quickly lol.

I think I'll take myself off to M&S tomorrow and get measured then. I was in 32C but am now back in my 32DD from before I went through a though patch and lost weight. I think I may need a 32/34E now. OH is happy, he is definately a boob man lol! Luckily they havent been too sore so I dont mind either, though they can get uncomfortable when I lay on my side in bed. I'll see how supportive the non-underwired ones are.

Anyone got anything ncie planned for the weekend?
  • Me and OH and my mum and my niece are off to a big firework event at a local theme park, should be really good, if a little cold. The rest of the weekend is going to involve laying in my elasticated waist jogging bottoms on my sofa, as it is the first bit of peace and quiet since we moved last week!

I'm an E/F Laura and I'm finding the non underwired bras quite decent, I have the moulded cup type for day wear and the soft kind for night time.

As DD cup pre pregnancy, non-wried bras weren't really an option for me, but since about 10 weeks, I've been wearing the non wired bravado seamless nursing bra. It's very comfy and supportive. It comes in 4 different sizes so you know it will grow with you and you don't have to keep buying more and more. :)

I was hovering between DD and E pre pregnancy, and i'm now firmly and F (lordy!), and have been fine with the non wired. They DO fit differently, and give a different shape to my boobies than any underwire, but they are SOOOOOOO much more comfortable! I've now bought 2 h cups as well(double EEK) for when i give birth and my milk (hopefully) comes in.

Guess I need to bite the bullet and go get measured somewhere then really :s
tempted to order a sleep bra from mothercare.

Can I ask a question - midwife appointments? I had a 16 week appointment and not down to see her again now until 24/25weeks? is this normal - no idea where my purple book is to look in there - but just seen on the bbc pregnancy week view thing - you will probably have a routine antenatal appointment around now :S Just my scan lined up for next week and thats it until December
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

Phunkles, I havent seen my midwife since my booking in at 8 weeks and am not due to see her again till 28th November so I would say it is probably normal.

I'll definately go for some non-wired ones for sleeping in, hmm attractive :rotfl:

    Enjoy the fireworks Snoopytweety.

Me and the OH are going to have a date day on Sunday, cinema then out for dinner, got to make the most of it while we can :p

I've accepted the fact underwear will not be sexy for the coming months, I came parading out in the non underwired bras and my OH was laughing his head off :o

The T shirt style ones aren't as bad though, they just look like normal bras to me and feel the same.

Phunkles I seen the midwife at my booking in and then it's been my GP since then, it's shared care here so no midwife appointments. I think I had

6 weeks - confirmation appt with GP
8 weeks - booking in with community midwife at GP surgery
9 weeks - 1st scan (which was far too early) at hospital
    13 weeks - 2nd scan at hospital
21 weeks - Scan at hospital
    23 weeks - GP Appointment
    27 weeks - GP Appointment

Then once I get to 30 weeks I see the GP every 2 weeks. I've had other appointments with consultants between those, but obviously that's because issues have cropped up, if everything had been ok, it would just have been appointments above. Hope that helps x
