:jHi everyone. Just back from the baby show(thanks again to Mozzy for the tickets xxx). Was so hot in there and not enough seats but really glad I went. Got a few freebies just by signing up,a tomee tipee breast pump etc, free with subscription for mother and baby mag, most other stalls only had 10pc off so hardly worth it. Best tho was pumpkin patch had 40pc off everything,so got a lovely snow suit, lots of outfits and little booties,a changing mat and muslins. So quite pleased:j

  • Evening everyone :)

Well me and DH went for our private gender scan this morning and I'm absolutely over the moon to tell everyone that we are joining team pink :j
We really couldn't be happier, DH went a bit mad on the baby clothes front after we'd been.

The woman that did it was lovely, baby was still in a position where you couldn't see but she moved me from side to side and eventually got the potty shot. She even let me guess so I got to tell DH that we're having a little girl, honestly best money I've ever spent!

We even got a sneaky 4D picture which we weren't supposed to. The price included 4D freeview (to try and get ppl to pay for a proper 4D scan) but we were only supposed to get the standard photos. I always thought 4D scans were a bit weird and never fancied one but she looked like a perfect little girl.

    Am sooooooo happy!

Congratulations on your little princess :)

Did you have a gut feeling either way before the scan?
Awww team pink for you xxx
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a while, come over from the less than... thread at 14 weeks today. Having known for almost ten weeks after an early test and an early scan I am delighted to be here, and feel blessed to be joining you all x

Scan last week was absolutely amazing, I managed to keep quiet as I'm a talker but I wanted to give DH time to take it all in and hear his reaction as he's a man of few words about this kind of thing (but very eloquent and touching when he does say them iykwim) and he found it all amazing too, our homeymoon baby feels like our little miracle. We saw our active little wriggler and are both over the moon, still waiting for the NF test results but they said three days by phone if a high risk so we're holding on for the letter, but the worry is reducing and I think hey, maybe I could start enjoying this now!

Telling my boss on Monday, a bit nervous but I'm a born worrier, I know he'll be fine but I'm a one man band on my project so we have some planning to do.

Will have a read back again but floatylight, love the costume, so inventive, really made me smile!

    Hi Phunkles

From finding out at 4 weeks to about 14 weeks i was convinced it was a boy and then i couldn't decide. I wasn't sure if i thought it was a girl or i wanted it to be a girl :) Lots of pink things bought yesterday :)

    Morning all and happy haloween!!

Sorry for not posting after my moment I had a couple of weeks back. I was just terrified of things going wrong but now feeling better after seeing the midwife last Friday, at 16+1, she picked up a strong heartbeat which was such a relief!! :j I've started to stop worrying and now looking fwd to our 20 week scan which is in 4 weeks, which I'm sure will fly by :)

I've starting to get the odd flutter in my lower tummy, feels a bit weird but also very reassuing.

We told our close family over the weekend and both families are over the moon for us!! Tis a relief that now ppl know but also was quite enjoying mine and DH's little secret!! :)

Thank you all for your reassuing words from last time, they were invaluable to me xx

Emmylou, so sorry to hear about your BIL, hope you are keeping well xx

Darkphaery, congrats on team pink! I can wit to find out (not sure if they will tell us) but I'm dying to find out if i'm team blue or pink, but either way we are not bothered so long as baby is happy and healthy.

    Hello to any newbies

    Gops xx
