Lucy my BMI is 33 and I don't even have a consultant for it. No talk of a GTT either, so don't let it worry you :) xx

Thanks again everyone. So how do the midwives determine whether you would need a GTT test? Do they go by how your urine/blood test is? Sorry if a silly Q:o

Each area is different Lucy, mine is because I am high risk and an older mum, with a history of loss and an Ivf pregnancy. Also from what I gather it is routine in some areas.

it is something which is generally done at week 28, maybe at your next midwife appt ask her about it xx

..... Bless your hubby this pregnancy lark is a bit too much like a rollercoaster sometimes. Main thing is they are checking you and if it is an issue then then can do something about it, think the majority its a diet & exercise thing but small number its tabs. My mum's boss recently had her baby and she had the GD and all was fine with her.

I am currently stressing myself as I know that I need the anti-d injection but my appt is 27 wks rather than 28 as the mw is on leave, does this make any difference god knows but I am stupid enough to google and think its licensed to be given between weeks 28-30 so  so going to mention to MW and someone else can give me injection the following week if need be.
