    Had scan today and we are exactly 12 weeks. Was amazing to see the heartbeat

    Is it sad I just worked out when my V day is :s
    Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
    Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
    It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
    I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

    Hi back from consultant. If anything i've come away more worried:( All the talk of diabetes,high blood pressure,pre eclamsia,blood clots etc(my BMI is 33),has made me really scared:(
    They also said because I am overweight the midwife may not be able to feel for baby's size so may need an extra scan at 34/36 weeks.

    Also because of the arthritis,if I have it in my back or neck,I may not be able to have an epidural:(

    They dont need to see me again unless midwife refers me again,which is good I guess......:(

    Charli - 6th December for me - nice vday though for you :)

    Lucy - try not to worry, and if you need an extra scan then extra viewing of bub and more pics id say its a good thing - my bmi is higher than yours (I am a fatty) Im yet to have a consultant apointment but my midwife has mentioned it both times now and has said its just routine and has hinted that its just a formality really due to the bmi but nothing more. If it was really high chance of all those negative things happening dont you think they might want to see you at their request again? xx Big hugs lovely xx
