I was wondering about my BMI, its gone up to 27, no one has mentioned it, but I'm slightly concerned. I'm 18 weeks today
and have already put on over a stone, they reckon you shouldn't put on too much in the 1st and 2nd trimester and should put on more weight towards the end so how much am I gonna end up?!?!?!
My scan is for the 28th October, so excited cannot wait:D
I'm not really showing yet and keep pushing my belly out to make myself look bigger, lol, before I was pregnant I was always sucking my stomach in to make it look smaller!! :rotfl:Got married 13/11/10

LOL Lola, I feel exactly the same, I wasnt sick in my first 12 weeks but only stopped feeling nauseous when i ate so I ve put on 8lbs so far. Im going to be the size of a small bungalow by the time my due date arrives!!
I do have a little bump but not sure if its just me or if it is baby too!0 -
Have 3 packs x44 nappies when they were £1 a pack from Asda(Tescos now have same offer on their own brand of nappies).
Box of 6 packs of Johnsons wipes from baby event.
3 packs of huggies wipes that are buy one get 2 free in sainsbugs.
pack of pampers nappies from boots to get the free changing bag.
4 starter boxes each containing a pack of huggies nappies, wipes and hat.
Open those starter boxes up, my boxes had 2x £1 off huggies pure wipes in them and they're only £1.29 at asda so I got 4 of my packs at 29pTTC #3..........0 -
Hi Charli and Lola!
I feel like we don't have enough nappiesI think we just have 3 packs. A friend is going to give us some washable ones to try along with a few liners, which should fit from 10lb, so it's really hard to know how many of the smaller size disposables we're going to need!

..... I know what you mean about the nappy thing  !
I have 4x packs of 27 huggies newborn size 1? (the smallest one)
1x pack of newborn size 2
10x little lamb terry squares suitable for newborn/prem/ or as boosters (really fluffy, second hand)
18x little lamb larger terry squares (really fluffy, second hand)
40x zorbit terry squares (unfortunately the popular rather than the better quality ones so dont buy them!!)
nappy liners
nappy nippa fasteners for squares
1x tots bots size 1 (free)
Bambino Mio newborn pack 12 nappies
mother ease wraps for terrys various sizes.
I am going to *try* not to buy anymore for now as we can get more later and I think that if the baby is big they can skip the smaller newborn size???
My book says for week 0 & 1 wet nappies 8-12 & dirty ones  0-12 per 24 hours. As a guide it says as you wont know how often to change so it says do so every 3 hours, less at night until you figure it out.
So on that basis think we can last at least 4 days on disps if he's a super nappy filler  but if he's a midget and we use the tiny terrys then it will be a few hours  but the point is am comfortable with that as will have time to send someone out for supplies, just dont want to have nappies that I wont use!!!!!
Be interested to know if anyones books say different nappy amounts for the first couple of weeks?!!! mind you the figures above are a bit wide but got to start somewhere!!0 -
Hey ladies
back from my scan and everything is fine
was so nice seeing him again! My placenta is right at the front tho, and kept getting in the way of seeing his face properly!
We have got around 10 packs of newborn nappies, wont be buying anymore as DD3 was nigh on 9lb, so thinking this baby is going to be a big one! Size 2 starts at 9lb i think anyway? So will start stocking up on that size nextxx
