Emmylou - glad all is well with the LO :D interesting to know how many nappies you have bought based on your experience.

Lola - Like you am going to give reusables a bash but will be using disp to start with and when going out. We havent got a dryer though  so that has influenced what type we have bought as they need to dry au naturel!!

    Welcome Snoopytweety :)

Glad your scan went well Emmylou my little monster kept hiding his face with his hands at my scan, they're cheeky little boys when they want to be. Mines is kicking away now, so I'm assuming he's agreeing with me.

Ive lost 2kg/5.5lbs between booking in appointment to the 16week check

So ive thought id check using an online bmi calculator using the measurements from the midwifes height and yesterdays weight - ive always been 5ft7 she has me down as 5ft6 :S

I wouldn't bother Lucy, If they really need one you can do one while there, but my consultant didn't say anything about urine samples.

Dot is now 4 weeks old and we are about halfway through our 4th pack of nappies.. she is changed every feed during the day and is feeding every 2 hours or thereabouts.. and wears a next size up one from about 11pm to about 8-9am and though she is sopping she hasnt leaked... and being breastfed she poops every single nappy.

This is about average based on my others so dont go over board on buying them.. by the time baby is 4 weeks old you will be more than capable of getting to the shop to buy more!
