ps that big bloated lump in front of his face is the placenta which is at the front of me - explains why it took til 16 weeks to start feeling any movement even though its my second. anyone else have this/had this before? The nurse said it makes no difference to anything - just the movement will be a little subtler than with my daughter who was halfway out the front of me most nights!

But I still haven't really felt any movement. DH is getting more panicky over it, which is annoying me!
He said we'll wait to 24 weeks, then go for another private scan.......

Thanks for the replies ladies. It's the kidney pain/ache that's worrying me. I'm only on day 2 of these new antibiotics so will keep an eye on it.

My scans at 9am tomoro. Nice and early. Pips been fidgeting around this afternoon while I been trying to sleep, bet he knows we want to know what sex he is and he's going to make it difficult!

Good luck to all the others wit scans tomoro :) how exciting!! X

I had my 20 week scan today, all is well and I too have a high but anterior placenta. I am surprised because I have been feeling kicks since week 14 and they are quite strong. I think I have a karate kid in here :rotfl: My sonographer said that it is a bit of a myth to think that you feel less with an anterior placenta especially if it's high ;)

I hate evenings since I got preg. Feel sick, don't fancy any dinner, tired, breathless and jus want to sleep so I Can wake up and feel well again. Even worse with this kidney infection. Pregnancys hard work lol
