Good Luck for tomorrow Twigpig! Are you a team yellow? Or are you a curious George like me? :p

    Hi ladies and bumps

I'm a long time lurker, 20 weeks preg and hav our scan tomoro.

Looking for some help on kidney infection.

Cut a long story short I got a uti while on holiday and couldnt get antibiotics for 4 days, finally got some but it had reached my kidney. Was admitted to hospital and put on a drip and iv of 1g doses of amoxi. They discharged me and I had to carry on with 1g amoxi 3 times a day. The pain came back within 4 days and uti wasn't clearing. Now I'm in a different antibiotic - the uti seems to be clearing but I still hav some tenderness in my kidney area.

Not looking for medical advice, more others experiences on how long others with kidne infections have taken to clear once the uti had cleared.

    Thanks ladies. Xx

Here is a question I've been pondering over, how many of each of these items are you hoping to have by time baby comes? Just in either newborn or 0-3m..

    Vests, Sleepsuits/Babygros, Hats, Socks.

    I'm so confused. :(

100% yellow for me and hubby :) Looking forward to the scan though. Wonder if beanie knows we're going to sneak a peak tomorrow. He's been fidgeting all day :rotfl:
What time is yours? We're at 3.45pm..... :)

keza - I hadn't realised that you were tomorrow too. Hope you have a great scan. What time are you going tomorrow? :)

A friend at work had a kidney infection on holiday. She's not pregnant but it took 7 days before things were better for her.... :o

11am :) I'm glad it's early, means it's out of the way for me. I just don't know what to expect with a consultant, all the midwives and radiographers I've had, have been so nice, hopefully they will be too. Hopefully your baby will behave and be in the right position for them :p

Good luck for the morning Gilly - I'll be counting down the minutes all day :rotfl:

As for shopping, I'll be buying this lot in both newborn and 0-3 months.
    7-10 vests and sleepsuits, 1 snow suit, 2 outfits, a cardigan & a sleeping bag/gro-bag
Then hats, mits, socks, bibs etc as well.

If it's not enough, we'll pick a few more bits once we know what size is good..... That's the plan anyway ;)
