Anyone tried the Chinese gender prediction test? I'm apparently predicted a boy,my friend due in October was predicted a boy too,but she's having a girl lol. So it's probably a load of rubbish:eek:

Wide awake since 3am! Hubby gone to work already, and all 3 cats have decided to jump into bed with me!

Been looking at George baby clothes - such good value and so cheap! Will be getting most of my stuff from there me thinks. Some really cute things

I think we will get most of our stuff at places like Adsa and Tesco as they grow so quickly there's little point spending loads. I have to confess to buying some next clothes for Sir Alex today but my excuse was it's my first purchase of anything for baby. I bought a pack of three vests with cute pictures on and a sleep suit (if that's what it's called- the ones with the long sleeves) that says "I love daddy" I bought them in size "up to one month" thinking most people will buy either 0-3months or 3-6 when baby's born so these can be for when we first come out of hospital.

You're right. I bought a few things off eBay yesterday, second hand stuff that I'll throw in the washing machine also. But they're basically snow suits, vests, sleep suits, rompers. But outfits and that, I'll just get from George and the likes.

I want to get some 2nd hand stuff from eBay but DH isn't keen and want only new. I might buy a few though and see what they are like and try and convince him that way

I've just found out I won some maternity clothes I bid on on eBay! :j
I've paid £8.19 (Inc postage) for a pai of jeans that have the stretchy panel at the sides and £8.98 Inc postage for a pair of over bump jeans, over bump combats and nursing top :money:

Well done! That's a great MSE saving!
My whole thing was that, for the first few months, baby will be sleeping, eating, pooing (crying) and not much else Haha. And I doubt I'll be venturing out much in February, brrrrrr

For coming home from the hospital, baby will wear vest, sleepsuit and snowsuit. I'm pretty certain its going to be cold. And pretty much the same for me haha. I don't handle winter well!

I've had a really uncomfortable night, my hip is agony, I have a dream genie pillow and that doesn't help, I'ms truggling to keep lying on the left as it leaves me so uncomfortable, doesn't help i'm weeing every 90 mins.

My ankle was puffed up before bed so oh massaged them to disperse the fluid, now my knee on the left is agony, oh is more concerned than me i'm just very tired and feel very sore.
