Hope all other scans happening today go well!

I'm feeling very fat and uncomfortable today bit I think it's mainly due to wearing a pair of non-maternity jeans (and skinny ones at that!) as I had one of those 'I have nothing to wear' mornings! I've done the old 'hair-band looped over the button' trick to give myself an extra inch or so but really can't wait to get home and take them off! Only five hours to go!

That's a bit rubbish, especially as the weather is so nice! Hope you feel better soon!

Am sure bean is fine, hope you're managing to eat/drink something? Get some nice hot soup down you!

hey, small update from me.
had a consultant appointment on wednesday due to past miscarriages and they found some protein in the urine. because of that now having full urine test and been refered to a Uterine Artery Doppler scan next week

unfortunately been looking at Dr Google and on one hand could be something normal that as my miscarriages were unexplained they want to double check all bases and just check the blood flow to the baby

on the other hand dr google mentions pre-eclampsia and i am now all paranoid (not telling OH though not to worry him)
my blood pressure is good though, not high and not too low...

*sigh*

has anyone had the UAD scan?

Afternoon Ladies - going to read back in a mo but the Boots Parenting Club caught my eye being mentioned on this page
I got my vouchers yesterday
I then had to go use them obviously but even my oh was shocked with what I got (I didnt think it was that big a haul)
I picked up
-Change bag
-1 pack size1 Nappies (have to pay for these £3)
- 1 125ml bpa Avent bottle (theres a voucher on the sheet for it for free - its very dinky and very cute)
-The second bounty pack (I already had one cause my midwife gave me 1 &2 but had the voucher for it so claimed it anyway - £2 pampers in there too and a dettol voucher )

The change bag isnt the greatest in terms of size but oh has claimed it as the one Im eyeing up in mother care is a bit girly handbagish so he said itll do for when hes taking baby out and about by himself/

Also found in my purse yesterday - some £1 off sudocreme pots vouchers which expire today so going to wander down and get a couple as Im planning on filling up the dinky freebie pots from bounty and using them in the change bag - space saving and all that.

....... ((((hugs)))) I dont know anything about the UAD scan but I have had mc in the past so understand that you are worried. Try not to look at google and I will keep my toes crossed that you get on ok next week. Its good that your BP is fine though.

thanks. Dr Google can be evil... scan is next friday, so have a week NOT to worry
