I'm 18+4 now, haven't had any sickness at all so far, just mild nausea and a funny taste in my mouth. The nausea eased off a few weeks ago, and the funny taste has mostly disappeared, it just comes back occasionally (like when I tested DH's glass of cider), but my sense of smell is definitely getting more sensitive rather than less!

Oh I see, they do say that symptoms do come back sometimes. Hopefully they'll ease up for you soon. Oh....I hope mine dont....im only just starting to feel normal again LOL

Dylan occasionally makes me want to puke for example when he managed to lift the lid on the food waste bin and started licking the slime from the bottom :eek::eek: there are other things he has eaten but they are not for the delicate to read :o

I suspect our cat has been outside eating something she shouldn't! Seems fine now, though I expect she'll be grumpy after being shut in the living room away from the plastering all day. I used to work as a cleaner at a vets so have a pretty strong stomach, not reacted like that to any pet icky stuff before!

I'm noticing some daytime kicks today too, it's really odd and quite distracting! But exciting all the same :)

Me either Mozzy thought I had but realised I hadn't. Doctor actually said to me today "oh you won't have felt anything yet"

She offered to let me hear the heartbeat but mentioned she may not be able to, so I said not to bother :o would only worry me if she couldn't.

Oh, the bionic sense of smell, yes I've got that! Early on, I had to hold my breath opening the kitchen cupboards because there was a very faint cooking smell inside them that I had never noticed before. At least the smells don't make me nauseous now (mostly!).

Anyone still sitting on the Comfort and Persil coupons from Bounty, they're on special in Sainsburys. £3 for the Persil and £1.65 for a big Comfort. I'd already used the Comfort coupon when I was desperate for softener the other day, but still bought both as they seemed cheap.

Hi Ladies =) Anyone mind me joining in?
I've just been for my dating scan and I'm 11 weeks. Its all very scary at this point  my sister and mother are more excited than I am :rotfl:
I lost the smell sensitivity and nausea a week or two back, although the dogs tripe cooking in the microwave does sometimes make me want to puke but I think that's more of a general gross smell lol. I've had one of those dreams where you see something (in my case a giant moth) on the pillow beside you but when you wake up properly its not there, but I'm prone to those sorts of dreams anyway.

I dreamed my aunt came back from the dead (she died like 3 years ago) and told me I had to dispute her will because my sister was owed 10%. I didn't want to do it because I knew I'd end up having to pay the solicitors :rotfl:

    Hello safesound and welcome!

Gilly & Mozzy - think the baby will just keep you in suspense until they want to make their presence known. My friend did not feel a jot until 22 weeks, I had fluttering from 14 then additionally the odd thump which did not happen until fairly recently which was usually started 7-8pm when lying down, now happens during the day a bit and I still get the odd flutter but usually feel something is turning so to speak. But my hubby is very frustrated as he wants to feel something but its too early but he does leave his hand there just in case (highly unlikely though) but usually it starts when he has gone out of the room!! (it did it sunday 8 thumps in quick succession then stopped before he came back!!!!!!!) see told you they are good at stringing these things out!!!!!! I do wonder if my extra padding makes a difference ie more reverberation!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lucy - perhaps your dream is telling you its a boy!!!!!!
