Hi Bluebell! I've only been measured the once but I hope I am due on the 2nd, 2/2/12 seems a really unusual date to be born on!
Lisa x
DH was born on 3/3 and his sister on 8/8 so I'm hoping for a 2/2 as wellWe got two measurements at the 12 week scan as being made 4 days earlier than expected meant I no longer qualify for SMP  So the midwife apologised there was nothing she could do about the date the computer said, but got someone else to check just in case.
Wonder Womble, I've got some row B seated tickets for The SpecialsHope you enjoy James, will have to look up if they're playing anywhere near me as well...
I think felt the baby kick a few times this morning, am 17 weeks now, and I really don't think it was wind :rotfl:
DH has now finished booties pair number 2, and a little hat!
We've spent today getting the living room ready for painting / wallpaper, so it should be looking nice and redecorated by the end of the bank holiday weekend. I've got Tuesday off work too, gives us another day to get done, and my Dad's coming to visit to teach us wallpapering.
Edit - nearly forgot to say hello Darkphaery0 -

I think I've felt movement as well now (am 19 weeks), I felt some flutterings last week, but yesterday and today have felt twitchy movements, like when one of your muscles is twitching, low down in my tummy, so am wondering if it's Pip...:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Morning all, and welcome to darkphaery.
Before I felt anything of the baby it was described to me as like bubbles or butterflies, which kind of made sense afterwards. Now heading for 22 weeks and when she is in the right place it's more obvious feelings like twitches and even feels sometimes like she is turning around (probably is, there should be plenty of room at the mo).
Darkphaery - I don't know what they do locally to you, but there must be a way around it. I had almost all my bloods taken at 15 weeks at the hospital blood unit. This was because I'm really hard to get blood out of and the midwife failed to get it at the initial scan, but I would have thought your GP would be able to organise. There's a timeframe on the down's screening bloods - perhaps check when they need to be taken and it might be that you are not outside the window which is why they aren't worrying.
I feel in limbo at the moment, nothing at all going on and next appointment is 3-4 weeks away. I'm sure everything is fine and I've been listening to the baby with the home doppler every few days, but I kind of feel like it will take forever for January to come! Have a funny feeling that I'll end up wondering how we got there so fast when Christmas comes and I'm fed up and desperate for her to be born :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Morning ladies!
Crabapple, i had my DD3 born in the january, and Christmas was a nightmare that year! Trying to do shopping when 8 months pregnant is a hassle! This time, i`m going to be prepared, have started buying my girls pressies alreadyi will be ready hahaha! My biggest worry is all the snow we had last yr.....I`m going to be housebound! We have to walk up and down hills to get to the school, which was hard enough last yr in the icey conditions, never mind with a huge bump! xx
Mummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

Thanks emmylou, but that just makes it worse! No other kids of mine to buy for, but nephews and neice and other kids. Adults might just have to accept rubbish gifts this year!
Plus DH and I are going to be asking for lots of baby stuff as we don't really need anything for ourselves. I'll probably get more excited about them than anything I could get, even though I'm planning to ask for things like a breast pump:rotfl:
DH has just cooked my breakfast, bless him. Got to go eat!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

I have 4 born Nov-Jan.. and I just shopped online for all the christmas stuff.. I have my lot to buy for, DGS, 2 sisters and respective OHs my mother and stepdad... and my OH.. He sorts his own family! I always aim to have everything necessary bought by the end of October and just have fillers and other bits I see on my travels/browsings in Nov. and Dec. I aim to have everything wrapped by the end of November.
2000 was the worst when I had DD3 who was due 25-1-01 and was born .. 19-12-00!! I got home at 4pm on Christmas eve after discharging us both!! Like I can not be home on christmas day when I have 6 children!! Ridiclous it was! (they wanted me to stay as Hb wa 5.1) Although 2005 wasnt much better.. we finihed decorating the front room at 11:30pm christmas eve... and had to transfer all the presents in.. that took a while.. we got to bed at 5am and the children were up 45 minutes later! I swear every year to be more organised and I never am lol
I would recommend asking for gift vouchers for baby for christmas for a specific shop so you can buy stuff you need through the year.. highchairs, clothes etc .. You get to choose what you want and find bargains and even get cashback through various sites.. nothing worse than someone buying you something you hate and it going to waste.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
