Can't remember exactly now, despite spending hours on it! ;D But I think once you've signed up there was a big green button saying click here to get the voucher, and that takes you to the coupon page. So if you've got that far, try right clicking on the button and seeing what the link says?

DH has signed up for a second time using a different email address and managed to get a voucher (or two) printed! :j

My 12 week scan was 2 hours, was at the hospital for 3 hours by the time I'd then been seen by a midwife. My 20 week scan is at 3.30pm so I suspect they won't keep me there for 3 hours at that one, as they'll be wanting to go home! My scan's in 3 weeks and 6 days time, not too long to wait now :)

    Afternoon All!

I had trouble printing the voucher - I should have said Sorry :o
Lisa - I am on the clexane (blood thinning injections) too - have been for 17 weeks....can I ask you...do you know what implications being on them has for a vaginal delivery, if any? Did the consultant say anything about that? I hope to see a consultant at my 20 week appointment so will ask then but am musing on it now!

They are not particularly nice - I seem to get on better with them if I inject at an angle rather than go straight in at 90 degrees. Some people find that icing the area first helps but I have never tried that. I just try to remember that they are keeping my baby alive :j (and me too!)

Hi Sparkly! The only side effects he told me were bleeding (but I'm not sure where?) and the ruptured uterus (well I think it was that!) My memory is useless! But he said it's very very rare. He did mention you had to stop taking it for at least 12 hours as you can't get an epidural when in labour but that was it. So I'm guessing all would be OK for a vaginal delivery.
I have to see the nurse tomorrow on how to inject myself...Not looking forward to it but as you say it keeps baby and me alive!

Hi Bluebell! I've only been measured the once but I hope I am due on the 2nd, 2/2/12 seems a really unusual date to be born on!

Hope everyone has a good day! I'm looking forward to doing nothing this weekend after a very busy 2 weeks 'holiday!'

    Lisa x

Been into Mr B's today to check out the 3 for 2 offer, some good things on it.

While i was in, i had a quick nosy at mum to be smellies, and saw the Sanctuary Mum to Be Bath crystals are reduced down to £4.29, and on the 3 for 2 offer.

There was also this , down to £1.79 and this to just under £2 in the normal sanctuary bit.

I only bought the mum to be salts though cos they smell lurveeely... :) xx

    Hi Ladies,

    Hope all are well!

I had my 16 week app with the midwife today and got to listen to the heartbeat! Was a very nice sound, my hubby had a big smile on his face. I also had blood taken for the downs test, normally I don't mind having blood taken, but today it really stung and my arm is all bruised and swollen. My eyes were watering like mad!

I seem to have a little bump appear over night and it now looks more obvious that I am expecting. I was in work today for the kids to collect their GCSE results and told loads of my friends, was really nice to see how happy they were for me.

    Hope everybody else is well.

    xx

  • Thanks for the Asda baby club tip - just registered, only to find out I can't print the coupon off at work as I can't install the printer thingy. Hopefully I haven't wasted the voucher, and I'll be able to sort it when I get home!

I had trouble printing the vouchers on my computer, but it was fine on the one at work.

We also just bought tickets to see The Specials in October, so if baby can hear what's going on by then, hopefully it'll turn out to be a Ska fan ;) Decided I'd better get seats for this concert though, I don't know that I'd be able to manage bouncing up and down in the mosh pit :) Just about makes up for the fact that Kaiser chiefs are playing locally a few days after my due date - think i'll have to give that one a miss....

I bught standing tickets for Katy Price and Rhianna just before I found out I was pg. I will be 7 1/2 months when they are on so I've had to sell my tickets on ebay. I'm going to see James when I'm 8 months though, it is seated and we got row B so should be good.

DH just left for work, i've just gone into the kitchen to find a pile of washing up, and that he has polished off the last of the cereal AND the last of the yoghurts. This means the only thing left in the fridge for my breakfast, is huge slice of rocky road cheesecake................. now, what do we all think i should do about that???? :)

You're husband is too good to you, he obviously did that deliberately so you would HAVE to have the rocky road :D

    Hi Everyone

I'm making my way over from the less than 12 weeks board. Am 12+4 today and just had my 1st scan this morning. Baby was waving away and all looks good :) Time to start the shopping :)

I do have a quick question. I want to have the screaning bloods done at 16 weeks (my hospital doesn't offer an NT scan) but i am on holiday out of the country. I have rang my Drs today to be told no midwives work that day (Thurs 22nd) and the next available appointment is Thursday 6th October which is not suitable. I explainined to the consultant i saw this morning that i wouldn't be here at 16 weeks and she said to book it for the day i return. They seem to be being really awkward about it and i've had to ask to speak to a Dr as the receptionist just wan't having it and insisint i book for the 6th. If i can't have them done by a Midwife can another nurse or Dr just draw the bloods and i can see the midwife for a check up the week after? I wouldn't have thought i could leave it any later going off what the consultant said.

    thanks!
