if you join the asda club now you get a voucher for the free huggies pack lisa mentioned. It gives you £5 off when thier baby event starts (friday i think) they will be reduced to £3 so if you buy shopping you will get £2 off shopping.
also inside the pack is a voucher for £2 off huggies including the huggies baby pack so can get them for £1 each.. great offer:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

I've just noticed your due date jenjade in your sig - I'm jealous, I would love my baby before Christmas! I love Christmas time and can't wait to have my baby to spoil! Why do I have to wait until the beginning of Feb?!! :rotfl:
I am glad it is before christmas too.. however it is very close to christams and i really want to be at home with DD1 over the christmas holiday so hoping she comes a little early

Thanks for the Asda baby club tip - just registered, only to find out I can't print the coupon off at work as I can't install the printer thingy. Hopefully I haven't wasted the voucher, and I'll be able to sort it when I get home!
Hi Lisa, sounds like you had a lovely holidayHope the injections go OK, I'm not sure I'd be able to inject myself! You're due the day before me! I was nearly the same day, but got measured by two midwives at the scan, first said 2/2 and the second said 3/2, so they gave me the 3rd as my due date in the end.
Over Christmas I shall really miss the marzipan. We always do home-made marzipan on the cake, but it's got raw egg in so I guess I'm not allowed to eat itI think I'll still have the Christmas pudding and brandy cream though!
Interesting idea about the cat litter tray cupboard, will have to have a think about that and measure up, as we're a bit short of space in the kitchen - though we could do with a proper towel rail in there instead of hanging the towels off the kitchen cupboards! Our conservatory roof decided ot leak this morning, grr. We think a bit of sealant should sort it out though so hopefully it's not another big expense.
Plasterer coming round this evening to quote for 3 new bedroom ceilings. This is going to be MESSY! But better than risking them falling down while we're in the rooms... at the moment I think the 6 layers of woodchip is all that's holding the plaster on!0 -
We also just bought tickets to see The Specials in October, so if baby can hear what's going on by then, hopefully it'll turn out to be a Ska fan
Decided I'd better get seats for this concert though, I don't know that I'd be able to manage bouncing up and down in the mosh pit
Just about makes up for the fact that Kaiser chiefs are playing locally a few days after my due date - think i'll have to give that one a miss....

DH just left for work, i've just gone into the kitchen to find a pile of washing up, and that he has polished off the last of the cereal AND the last of the yoghurts. This means the only thing left in the fridge for my breakfast, is huge slice of rocky road cheesecake................. now, what do we all think i should do about that????Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I went to see a consultant today about a blood clot I had on my lung 2 years ago and as I'm at a higher risk of getting another I'm on blood thinning injections until 6 weeks after the baby arrives
The only thing that worries me is I have to do them myself
Lisa x
Lisa - I am on the clexane (blood thinning injections) too - have been for 17 weeks....can I ask you...do you know what implications being on them has for a vaginal delivery, if any? Did the consultant say anything about that? I hope to see a consultant at my 20 week appointment so will ask then but am musing on it now!
They are not particularly nice - I seem to get on better with them if I inject at an angle rather than go straight in at 90 degrees. Some people find that icing the area first helps but I have never tried that. I just try to remember that they are keeping my baby alive :j (and me too!)
