Hi I'd also like to join in, the main pregnancy thread also can be a bit scary and move fast for me too! I am 16 weeks now and I don't feel like i've 'swelled' (?) that much on my tummy yet, I suppose that's normal? I've started to feel a few flutters though so am thinking maybe the baby moving?
For the monay saving aspect of being pregnant, i'm finding it hard to keep up with my constant changing food habits! I'll love something one week and despise it the next! Has anyone got any tips for this?
Also i'm thinking about requesting a second c-section for various reasons (including me having back problems) does anyone know if they will do this on the due date or if they do it before that roughly?
I've already started stockpiling nappies of various sizes and wipes using money in my weekly shop so I won't have to worry those first few weeks after the baby arrives. I'm going to try & breastfeed again but just in case i'll grab a tub of formula & some bottles too in case I get another hungry baby!

Hi all,
I am still reading the main pg thread and will post here too. Overall of course there's so much to learn that any place to share is great.
I got my £5 off £10 spend voucher from Sainsburys in my pack from the hospital at the booking in appointment. So today I had a look there and there are some cute packs which may be worth getting. Also got £0.30p off Ovaltine so got some of that too, as Sainsburys don't seem to have an own brand version. Kirstle99 that's great you are already gettting stuff, I need to do that too - I saw that in the £0.99p store they have baby wipes, just need to see if this is really cheaper than other high street prices.
I was wondering is anyone planning to start properly buying any of the big stuff yet? I want to get items 2nd hand where possible, or even on freecycle. So far we got a cot on Freecycle and just need to buy a mattress. No idea where from though!
Kirstle99 I am not showing much at all yet either, this week I will be 14 weeks. Food wise, I am liking peach yoghurt from Sainsburys (covers the dairy and calcium needs for baby) and also for some reason Cinnamon Graham type cereal (I say type because Sainsburys have a similar thing, it was all i could find - are Golden Grahams not made anymore?!). Not sure about your query about c-section as this is my first pregnancy... maybe call your midwife?:):)

You will need to speak to your midwife. usually is done around your due date.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
i can understand a thread for less than 12weeks but i do find this one a bit strange. next it will be threads depending on what trimester you are in
people say the main thread moves to fast...well as soon as this one gets lots of people posting it will too.
i found the main pregnancy thread fabulously helpful as it was great to 'talk' to people at all different stages of their pregnancies. i found it a lot more helpful than i ever thought it would be. it can move fast but i never found it too much of an issue and made some fabulous friends on there'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
