The mum to be pack is the Bounty one you're looking for the voucher for.
You'd know if you had it, it's a big plastic bag with a few samples in, and some coupons. I had to smuggle it into the house so my son didn't spot it! (Was keeping secret till his exams were over)
It might be your area just does things differently to mine, and it'll arrive later. Are you seeing your midwife at 16 weeks?
I have noticed everyone seems to do things differently, in this area you see the midwife at the local GPs, and only go to the hospital for scans. In fact, we're spread across 3 counties! GP in one, hospital in another, and midwifes based in a third.0 -
I reckon you're right, it seems that way from reading the forums. I'm going to Kingston Hospital, so maybe they do things differently. I think my next appointment is my scan at 20 weeks. I haven't heard anything about a 16 week checkup. But will check my folder just in case.
Thanks Aimless!DFD February 2012

Mozzy, you should see your local midwife for your 16 weeks, but you make the appointment yourself, its not done for you- its usually just BP and wee wee test, and "how are you doing". I saw the midwife at my GP surgery. I'm just up the road in Wimbledon, so the rules are the same.
The bounty book i got through the post after i had filled in the form, and collected the pack from sainsburys.

Really. I wasn't told anything about having to make this appointment. When do they tell you this. Maybe I'll phone my gp on Monday and ask. Don't even know who my local midwife is Haha. Oh dear, thought I was organised! Thanks Kira!DFD February 2012

WW- I work for the county coucil but because i only work 16 hours a week the maternity pay works out to be £18 less than my normal weekly wage! Not sure what happens about working family tax while i am on maternity leave and being paid by work? anyone know?
How strange, I work for the local authority and get 90% of my wages for 6 weeks, then 50% f my wages for 12 weeks, then SMP until 39 weeks. Ypu've gt a cracking maternity package for a public sector service.I've just been looking at the bounty club online, and it says you were supposed to receive a free mum to be package voucher in the pregnancy guide that we were meant to be given. I didn't get this, or at least can't find it.
Has anyone received these vouchers in their pregnancy guide?
Thanks!
I didn't get mine either, I registered on the Bounty website and it says that anyone who doesn't claim their pack will be sent a voucher through the post which I am still waiting for .... I don't think I'll get that. I didn't get any free samples in the first one eitherjust a load of leaflets

I only know from reading the info notes in my maternity folder from the hospital which gives the weekly list of expected appointments at Local midwife(GP/heathcentre), scans and hospital midwifes.
I asked my midwife at the booking in, and she said, oh yes, the local midwife ones you book yourself. My GP surgery only has one midwife, so she is my local.

Mozzy, had a look at the Kingston hospital website for antenatal care stuff. Found the care pathway for the hospital. Might be useful!
http://www.kingstonmaternity.org.uk/images/stories/pdfs/antenatal-pathway.pdf
It doesnt specify which midwife ones are GP/local MW and which hospital. I'd contact your GP surgery about the 16week one, and take a copy of the list to the appointment, and ask which ones are based with them, so you can make the arrangements.
