Evening :j
Decided to go to a local garden centre today so that we could look at some little people stuff eg toys etc. This is the first time I have looked at anything and am not ready for full on baby shops as too paranoid about buying anything in case something goes wrong. Though it was nice to see hubby get excited at some of the toys particularly the nursery rhyme puppets!!!!
I have to admit to wanting to specifically go to the garden centre as on a previous visit MIL really upset me as I was handling a small rocking horse whilst thinking it would be lovely for my friend who had a just had a baby, she was the one who I could not see whilst pregnant as I was not over the mc. My Friend also had pcos but she had a scan before she got pregnant and the cysts had cleared. She understood that I may not want to see her and gave me the space I needed. MIL scolded me (I had not told her my friend had recently had a baby) and told me to put the toy down as I would only upset myself etc It was clear she thought that I would never have a baby and it upset me because having pcos meant that it was a very real possibility that it may never happen. So going to the garden centre today and allowing myself to look at toys was :j:j:j:j:j:j:j!!!!!!!!!
However now knowing about the Rhesus negative thing has me worried again but I know it wont make a difference whether I worry or not.
My ex boss has kindly offered me to collect in December a pram, buggy and bits and this together with the old cot & crib at MIL has taken the pressure off as I did not want to have anything here and it is really kind of them.
Enjoy the weekend All
