Congrats on the scans! Jenjade, your boot sale shopping sounds really good
Had a fairly sore weekend as my coccyx and lower back started getting really painful. Our living room is now full of chairs and a beanbag from the rest of the house, while I test them out to find something I can sit on comfortably! Hopefully it'll ease off soon, if not I've got another physio appointment next week.
Not being able to sit down did mean I had to get on with the glosswork in the hallway though! Might even have it all done next weekend - I counted 9 doors to gloss, plus all the doorframes, skirting, stair banister, 2 window frames and surrounds, a few shelf type areas... so this is going to be the worst part of the house for glossing! The low odour gloss is awkward to use and needs two coats, but I don't think I can manage to cope with the smell of the solvent type just yet.0 -
Hey everyone
Hubby and I were off visiting some family for a long weekend, so just catching up. Hope you're all doing well.
Toniq - Welcome  I was just starting to move to the +12 months thread and followed your story. Pleased that everything is going well. Better start accepting that you're pregnant !!
Gillyx - Great that you've shared with the family. Very exciting isn't it, when other people around you know (Roll on the unwanted and unasked for advice) :rotfl:
Ro - Sound like you had fun with the toys at the garden centre :j ps - I've not had KFC in at least a week (I think)........ :rotfl:
Delain - Congrats on team pink!
yummymummy - Glad you managed to get another can sorted, also congrats on team pink. Of all of our friends over the last few years, everyone has had girls. Wonder if we'll break the trend......
jenjade - sounds like you had great fun at the carboot. Some great bargains too! Wonder if I can convince hubby to take me to the carboot near us, he hates them, lol
Hubby is waiting patiently for the beanie to start kicking but we're still a few weeks away (15 weeks this week). We've also got some decorating to do in September too. The lounge needs painting (and the crappy glosswork - urgh), and we need to relocate spare room to bedroom 2 (which is a little bigger), so bedroom 3 can be our nursery. Lots to do. Roped in BIL to help hubby move the furniture and stuff and I'll just be supervising :rotfl: Hoping to get new flooring in the lounge too, but depends on what cash we have to spare......TTC #3..........0 -
Ah Twigpig they've been great, his mum has even said not to worry about her buying things I don't like, anything she wants to buy she'l clear with me first, so she must know I'm a fussy mare. I just feel like I'm not hiding anything any more, and I can sleep as much as I want
Said to my OH this morning, I'm sleeping for 2, he was not amused.

Whilst I remember to ask, has anyone got really sore breasts or nipples?
My nipples were tender just before I got my BFP, and they've been a sensitive ever since. I can see that my boobs are getting bigger (and that my nipples are changing) and my bra shows they're getting bigger. I wasn't exactly small chested before hand, so they'll be at my feet soon :rotfl:
I was hoping that my sensitive nipples might ease off, but no signs yet. Anyone else?TTC #3..........0 -
mines are really sensitive, hurts to even touch them, it's like permanent pms boobs. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Good to know I'm not on my own and that it might ease off in later weeks.
Hubby thinks them getting bigger isn't a bad thing, but he can't touch them, so what's the point :rotfl:TTC #3..........0 -
We're having a girl!!!!
DD is very excited! OH wanted a boy but he says he's happy lol Struggling for Girl names now though but we have 20 weeks () to decide.
Had 2 scans today - First one showed a low placenta, second one showed it was all ok so big sigh of relief.
Unfortunatley whilst we was in there I saw one of my friends - very upset - in the ultrasound waiting room. Didnt go up to her at the time as she was talking to the doctors but later found out she has lost her baby (12 weeks - she never told any of us she was expecting)
I'm planning on surprising OH with a candle lit meal soon - DD is off to my mums (hopefully!) but I'm struggling to find a nice dress that makes him go "wow" - They're all very Mumsy! Has anyone seen anywhere? x0
