Hello all. Loads of team pinks since the last time I posted - congrats to all, even if you are all struggling to name them!!
Got my scan on friday and I'm hoping for team blue because we are already calling it 'him'. That fact, and that my DH and his dad have become convinced it is a boy, means I'm pretty much guaranteed a pink one... Not that it matters either way, just keep thinking of it as a boy.
Names are sorted either way, after fairly short debate with DH. Although he doesn't get that we might need back-up names in case it pops out and doesn't look like the name we picked. Perhaps that's just me being weird!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Squeak has my nan's middle name as her middle name, my nan has always hated it though.
There are hundreds of Jasmines going into year 3 this year, so it's out for us, they are everywhere!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

We were convinced it was a boy, calling it he or Dave since the beginning, was actually hoping for a boy as I have one already so know what they are like, plus have plenty of stuff already, which I think were the reasons we ended up with a girl! It's cool though, ex has a girl so he will let me have some stuff from her, plus she is a ready made friend/clubbing partner so it'll work out.
Just need to practise girly stuff, hair, make up etc cos I have no interest at all! At least I've got a few years to worry about it.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -

If you want her to have long hair get tea tree spray for school, and always always tie up or plait. I discovered it a bit late after millions of nit episodes lol.

I just tell him it's his baby thats making me like this!
I got this from the gp for horrendous hayfever. Took about 3-4 days before I saw much improvement, but it did work and the doctor mentioned it would take a while to kick inTTC #3..........0 -
We had a name, complete with middle name, and now I find out my friend is planning on using the middle name for her baby, who will be born in the next few days. Back to square one for us!!
I would still use the name YOU want. If you had your baby first, no guarantee that your friend wouldn't have used it anyway. We've decided on a girls name and I don't care if anyone uses it between now and then, I won't be changing my mind :rotfl
Struggling with boys names though......TTC #3..........0 -
Had my scan today, totally opposite sex to the one I'd assumed, and of course the one we hadn't really worked out a name for.
I did throw out a 'could live with..' suggestion at the last minute because I thought only having one name sorted might jinx it, and the other half has grown quite attached to it!
The nice man pointed out the head wedged against my cervix and said, guess you feel like you have to wee all the time? Yep, that's that mystery solved! Thanks baby, sitting there headbutting me doesn't help with my paranoia about you coming too soon, there's a family history of cervical incompetence and for some reason I'm letting it worry me more than I should. Also meant he couldn't see the cervix, I was hoping for reassurance that it looked normal.
While they were doing the scan, one side of my back decided to get twingy, by the time he finished it was so painful I felt sick. Annoying because it was really interesting but I couldn't pay much attention to the second half.
Oh, and the placenta is apparently low so I have to go back at 34 weeks for another scan.0 -

Hope everyone's rescans go well, I'm sure it said in my book that the vast majority of rescans show the placenta's sorted itself out and got into the right place!
Had a dental hygenist appointment this morning, first time I've ever been and thought it was horrid, painful and made my gums bleedHopefully I can get away with not going back to the hygenist again for another 20 years. My teeth do feel kind of shiny though, which is quite nice.
