I'm 17 weeks today:jStill doesnt seem real yet i'm sure it will when baby starts kicking me in the ribs:rotfl:
What position do people sleep? I read that you shouldn't sleep on your side or on tummy and sleeping on your left side is better. I have a V shaped people and do sleep on my left side with my legs bent but i often wake up in the night on my back and just wondered how i could stop this?
Finished for the summer today so i will be sleeping for the next 6weeks:rotfl:!
I have been having trouble sleeping some nights to be honest, i try to sleep on my left side but i toss and turn and can't get comfortable. I sometimes wake up on my back then worry that i shouldn't be! I've stopped rolling onto my front now though-which is good.
I noticed last night-i now can't feel my ribs very much when i'm standing up-hubby agrees i've got bigger this week-which i'm pleased about seeing as i've been paranoid about not getting bigger yet.

Hi everyone,
Hope you're all well. Prepare for another MS moan from me lol. Yesterday I phoned the Drs to get new medication for the MS because cyclazine didn't work very well & I was prescribed Avomine. 20 mins after taking one I was crouched over on the bathroom floor with bad stomach cramps & chills  It said on the leaflet talk to your Dr if you have this symptom so I definately think it was the pill.
My mum phoned NHS24 and I had to go to hospital for a check up. They took my blood pressure etc & said it all came back ok & a lot of people don't react well to these medications so they gave me a prescription for a different anti sickness med.
Thank god everything was ok but now I'm scared to take anymore pills. Though the throwing up is really getting me down & I feel exhausted but that cramp was excruciating
I just wish I could start enjoying this pregnancy. 8 weeks of terrible sickness & it's not getting any easier.

Keelykat i also have noticed my ribs a bit more. is there any reasons for this?!
Kira Hi bump buddy! Don't worry about the extra scan! Our 20 week scan would off be 18th august so i could see the consultant afterwards but i went for 11th so i didnt have to wait an extra week!
I'm always under consultant care but theres due to the previous miscarriages. I will seem them for the last time on the 18th august tho.0 -

Evening all!
I've found myself getting three different symptoms at once in a week! Since Thurs I've been short of breath half the time (first time I was overdoing it and trying to carry a speaker downstairs), back pain now and I've never had any really bad cravings so far, some "I really fancy x" moments maybe, but for the past few days I've been fantasising about a huge glass of wine! It's driving me nuts since it's something I can't have."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Hi Guys
Lovely sunny day at last, well I'm 17 +1 today. Had the midwife on Thursday and heard the heartbeat which was lovely. DH's cousin lent me her doppler and was so excited to show DH, but he didn't seem too fussed as he says it still doesn't feel real at the mo. Was a bit gutted but that's men for you, lol!! Had my downs result back today and it was 1 : 15,284 which was great.
Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend0 -

oooohhhh a cold glass of wine! I would love one of those. I havent had a drink since I got my BFP and that was my first BFP of which I had an early miscarriage. I haven't had a drink all year.
The only thing I crave which I cannot have is alcohol and I wasnt a big drinker to start off with.
my cravings are all bad food like pizza, curry etc. Not good for my weight.0
