Yep, my scan will be at 22 weeks too. At my 12 week scan, she said having my 20w scan a little later would be better, as I'm a bit bigger (in a nice way though), lol. I could have had the week earlier, but I was happy to wait to 22 weeks. I'll be whining about it in about 8 weeks though :rotfl:

Now I was told the opposite.. if they need to rescan if they don't get all the measurements they have to get it done before 23 weeks in order to fit in an amnio if necessary.. in case there is something you might want to terminate going on..

    I was 23 + 5 when I had my rescan

Just looking for a little advice on the 16 week appointment... I'd assumed, and from what I've googled, it does seem to be just a regular checkup, blood pressure etc, in and out in 5 mins.

But I wanted to try to move mine to later in the day, which they can't do as they're too busy, and the receptionist said that I should keep the appointment as the midwife is going to do 'the booking'. I've already had a booking in appointment, worked through reams of notes and so on, so what is it that is so important?

If it is just a regular checkup I am going to be so fed up, as I've just had to turn down a nice free break to the seaside, because they're arriving back about 3 hours after my appointment time. :(

I personally would have gone to the seaside! Have never had any other checks than BP/wee test and out of the door again. Pretty much all appointments bar scans are like this (at least here they are)

If all else fails ring them up and tell them you are ill if you would need to turn down another free day out :o
