jcr.. I rang to cancel an appointment (17th June) and apparently they had made me 3 appointments but only told me about this one.. so I cancelled them all.. then had to ring back in case they had cancelled the scan appointment too.. lol... So I HAD loads of appointments lol..

The anomaly scan is the 10th so a week on Friday.. at 9:30 in the morning.. so that'll be fun.. having to get us all out and Squeak fed before 8:30.. I can see it not happening! And after all the flapping I did about wanting to know the gender I don't actually want to know now... lol

i know what you mean, i had one day when i had 4 letters all with different appointments on , all for same day , for same things abut different times. so i turned up for the earliest app and said can you make head nor tail of these letters, if even baffled the staff . but i got the scan and consultant seen. so all was well.

All my appoints are for consultants, scans, normal N/A and annthastic. if i do agree to section then i have alot of consultant appoints for some reason, but if i choose to go natural i have to have alot of scans to check position of baby and something else. as where i've had 2 breech, somethign to do with they want to be as prepared as they can, if i go into natural labour for monitoring . i'm not fully sure tbh. i kinda thought i'll just take each appoint as it comes and go from there. i got a bit confused with all the information. it is a bit baffling. Hubby coming with me tho next time so have an extra pair of listening ears :rotfl:

All i know is i can't wait till our little boy joins are family. even if both options of his arrival are a bit scary, lol.
  • I put my bump band on today and in the hope to keep my jeans up with the button undone but its too loose - LOL. Im guessing maternity clothes are gonna be the same - grrrrr - back to a hairband to secure the button it is!! Oh the glamour!

My consultant has sent out 5 appointments to see him..apparently it states he personally is to see me.. but seeing as noone can tell me why I won't go.. They'll just spout the same piles of rubbish they usually do PPH, uterine rupture, antibodies, blah bah... can't be bothered to put myself through the absolute pile of unsubstantiated rubbish they spout.. I find it incredibly boring.. I've been waiting 4 weeks for the results of the last lot of bloods so with a bit of luck the antibody level aren't too crazy..

What are the odds I get a call on the 17th about 5pm asking why I haven't gone to the appointment I cancelled the day I got the letter?

    Hi congrats and welcome!!

I thinkif you can't get SMP you get MA, if you look on the direct.gov website you should be able to find out.

    Hi thankyou :D

I havent made any ni contributions or paid any tax in the past 3 years due to my low hours and wages so my mother-in-law reckons i cant claim anything  i wasnt working on my other 3 children (or claiming anything) so this is a pretty new experience to me!,ive had a quick browse on the direct.gov website but nothing on there confirms anything and i dont think i can put in a claim form until im 20 odd weeks, its head work! lol x
  • Before I fell pregnant I was doing weight watchers and trying to exercise a few times a week.

When I found out I stopped ww and although I've got 2 pregnancy suitable DVDs I'm finding motivation hard, not done them
once and now 15w. It's laziness really, no other reasons - no sickness to stop me.

I had a conversation with my OH and we both know I've put on weight, he said I've lost it before, I can loose it again once baby is here - thing is do I really wanna start again as a mummy? It's taken me years and a lotta work to loose 4 stone and get to a 16, I'm worried I'll end up huge but can't seem to motivate myself.

    Any ideas??
