welshcaz dont worry hun, i only started feeling mine move at around 20 weeks and this is my 5th pregnancy (3rd viable one) i can really feel it now at 23 weeks, it will happen we just need patience lol, i figured its cause i got extra fat around me now.

skintcatt, sorry have no idea of that area so cant give you any input, have you tried the auction houses

My midwife won't try to listen for the hb until you are atleast 18 weeks, later if you are on the significantly tubby side (or so she says). I suppose it is the avoid the above situations happening.

That said we have a doppler that we use when I get stressed that something may have happened and that is somewhat reassuring. Still haunted by memory of trying to find F's heartbeat though.....:(

I started to feel very slight movements at about 15 weeks I think and theyve got stronger over the last couple of weeks. I think I felt a kick the other day but who knows!

I bought a load of tiny baby clothes today. I look at my best friends 4 week old and she just looks so small its hard to imagine how tiny mine will be :S I've told the OH he has to give me some girl sperm next time - there are so many nice girly clothes!!

Thanks for the replies :) i think im just slightly more panicky on this baby as im older now (32) and its been almost 10 years since i had my 3rd baby,i am more overweight this time than i was on my other 3 so that might explain why i havent really felt anything yet?,im thinking of buying one of those dopplers off amazon just to put my mind at rest as ive still got 11 days to wait till my big scan and i want to know theres still a little heartbeat in there before i go to the scan if you get what i mean..why oh why is pregnancy so stressful?! x

because you worry too much lol. and 32 isnt that old im 31, and same as you its been almost 10 yrs since my youngest.
i know what you mean about going to the scan though as i was terrified, thats what happened to us a couple of yrs ago, went to the 12 week scan and told it had stopped growing so was really not looking forward tot his 12 week one now,

but i just try not to think about things too much, andnow i feel it move often it puts my mind at rest even more, you should start feeling it pretty soon. x

  • I've been playing with our pram today! Got a quinny speedi, and got the carry cot from eBay yesterday! The whole thing for £180 - instead of £430! just the maxi cosi car seat to get now! :)

    Hello all,

I went for my scan this morning and my dates have changed slightly so i can now move over to this board! Yeah I am offically 12 weeks today the scan gave me the due date of 18th December!

Is anyone who has passed 12 weeks still feeling sick? I am still feeling quite rough.

Hey kitten i love the pics. My scan showed only one ;-) although i thought i was carrying loads! lol

    Good luck all
