hello , evenig all, how are you , good i hope and keeping well

oh my god i have a secret arghhhhh dont know why i do it to myself lol

had the 20 week scan a couple of weeks ago, did we want to know the sex, no thankyou we dont mind what it is.

roll forward to today, had to have a scan of my liver to check all was ok and the lady asked if we knew what we were having to which my hubby replied no we dont but i think the wife really wants to know now.

so with a girlie giggle we both had a look. but now i have to keep it a secret from everyone as i know my family really dont want to know until its born. lol

  • Mirror - I've got my scan tomorrow and we are very certain we don't want to know what it is but a tiny part of me thinks....should we ask?!!!

Thing is, like you, if we did find out I would want to keep it secret from everyone else and I'm not sure I can do that very well :o

Hope you manage to keep it secret! :j

Mirror - what is it, what is it? I'd ALWAYS said my whole life that I wouldn't find out, then as soon as I was pregnant I started thinking "Ooh, wouldn't it be good to know"... but I want to keep it a surprise and OH is adamant about not knowing, so baby's birthday will be when we find out!

We've told most of my girlies now - but I just can't get hold of the one of them. I'm desperate to tell her as she is due with #2 a couple of months before me and will be ecstatic about us being preggo. Annoyingly she goes on holiday tomorrow and I really wanted to tell her before anyone everyone else starts to find out!

Hope everyone's feeling ok? We're off to the Australian X-Factor live auditions tonight - he he!

we didnt find out with our first,
with the second my hubby found out because he wanted to know and i didnt then literally 3 mins down the road he blurted it out cause he was so excited.
then with this one we didnt find out at the scan and afterwards i was like i really wat to know now, but we have to have scans for other things going on so the lovely lady slipped her scanner down somehow (wink wink) and we just happened to notice lol.

so we now have an 11 yr old boy a 9 nine yr old boy and a little boy on the way, whoop whoop

Oh guys I'm so stressed how can I switch off? We've moved out & completed on our sale but we can't find anything we like to even view in our area so we're stuck living with our respective parents which makes me so unhappy. Hubby hasn't felt the baby kick yet as he's never here when it happens & we're going to be living an hour apart on our first wedding anniversary :'(

To top it all I was looking forward to resting during my two months garden leave next week from work and they've gone & cancelled it AND put me back to full time hours :( I've got nothing to wear now as I was holding my trousers together with a hairband/safety pin which no longer stretches and I can't find any plus size maternity wear on the High Street today. I'm going to have to wear my loose cropped casual trousers to work at least on Monday which will get me told off :(

Can't stop crying yet I've been fairly mood stable throughout my pregnancy so far. Sorry for the rant!

    hi

had a bit of drama today at my 16 weeks midwife appt. she couldn't hear the heartbeat which was causing me to freak out. luckily i got booked in for a scan and i got to see the baby again - everything was fine.

do they always try to listen to the heartbeat? - not sure if i want them to bother again as it caused me more harm than good.

    Hi,

I was hoping I could join from the 0-12 thread.

I had my 12 week scan on Tuesday which put me at 11 and 1/2 weeks with twins. So now not sure of my due date.

I have to go back in a couple of weeks to get some measurements taken and get referred to the twin specialist unit. I am really happy :j however quite apprehensive, not because I am worried about having twins but because I was worried about loosing one and now I am worried about loosing two. - I need to stop googling and just relax.

Sorry for the large picture (thats if it shows up) not sure how to make it smaller.

I think they check it at every appt. Hopefully now they know where it is, it should be easier for them to get it next time. I hate those few seconds (feels like hours) where they are searching around for it.
