    Hi all,

As requested Ive just dropped in to let you all know that I am expecting another little boy.

The scan showed he is very small and what should have been an exciting time just made me more concerned. I have to phone my consultant on Monday to discuss the results of the scan and we will see where we go from there. Please all keep your fingers crossed for me.

As premature as it may be, we have decided the baby will be called Reuben Felix Robin. Rueben was the other name we had for Felix and we both love it, Felix as a tribute, and Robin is it somewhat of a family name on my side.

I hope you are all doing well and will try to drop in occasionally. My wedding is in just under 3 weeks so forgive me if I dont come back before then.

    Best wishes, RWB

RWB.. I can fully understand why you would be so concerned.. but I hope he is just a little man and I absolutely love the name Reuben.. I wanted to call all mine that.. It is one of my favourites. We haven't even discussed names!! at all.. not even a passing 'do you like this' so I am very impressed! :D Much love to you and hope your wedding goes swimmingly and that wee man gets himself growing!

  • RWB lovely to hear from you - sorry to hear the scan was worrying - I LOVE the name you've picked for your little man - really nice. I hope the consultant can offer you some reassurance and help to give you a care plan to keep you and Reuben monitored.

Good luck with your wedding, hope you and amazing day.

    Hi all
After having a lovely anniversary weekend, I woke up in a happy mood on my way to work. This soon changed. Whilst I was stationary in traffic the car behind bumped into me and really jolted me forward! I've been to the doctors who felt my bump and said it felt fine but I have a really achey right shoulder, right hip and lower back pain that I haven't had before today.
What do you suggest I do?
I was thinking if it was still there in the morning I would ring up the midwife and arrange some physio.

I was so shocked after the bang that it felt like ages for my pulse to settle down. Horrible morning

Wow!! This is a quiet thread!!

I thought I'd pop on and introduce myself, I'll be 12 weeks pg tomorrow :j Already had my scan at 11+4  and EDD of Eugene the bean is 11th Dec. I'm already counting down the days because I'm so excited. I've waited so long to be pg.

    Hi all,

I don't often post but always pop in to see how everyone's getting on. No posts for days!

Hi Wonder Womble, and hope you've recovered SVsandy! Did you speak to the midwife?

Hope everyone is enjoying the first morning of a lovely long weekend! I'm feeling quite well, at approx 18 weeks pregnant, but unfortunately my 13 month old is very miserable and clingy after his 1 yr immunisations a couple of days ago.Thank goodness for calpol. Poor baby!

Also getting loads of movements now.
  • Morning everyone - I know its been awfully quiet on here - people getting on with stuff in the RW I expect

Random question for you - what to kicks feel like? How would you describe your first movements?

I was gonna get on the scales today but wimped out!!

Durham05 - glad the scan went well and congrats on team blue!

Glittermonster - with my first baby, DS, i didn't feel anything until about 18-20 weeks, and at first it just felt like very faint twitches. I think it felt the same as when you feel gas gurgling about in your tummy, buta bit lower than the belly button. I'm now 18 weeks preg with my second, and i've been feeling little movements since about 15 weeks, but everything is much less firm this time around, so that's quite normal!

Do you think you've been feeling something? It is easy to miss in the early days, unless you're laying really still.
