Oooh Con, hugs for the sinusitis, doesn't sound nice. Hopefully it'll be gone soon, make sure you have lots of rest. And make sure you let work know so they cancel your day off and put you down as sick!

Thanks, I would rather just keep it as a holiday, my sickness record isn't great so don't want it going against me. Tomorrow is my non working day so will be able to rest then also and I have another scan tomorrow also so get to see baby again.

Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon :)

Hi ladies. Hope everyone is ok, or as well as can be!

I finally feel normal again, I hope it continues! My husband collected loads of clothes and baby things from a friend last week. She had quad(!) girls 6 months ago but they didn't know the sex so had tons of boy items lying around taking up space. We've got a brand new moses basket and stand, a playmat, 4 boxes of clothes and lots of creams and things for me - well and truly spoilt!

Our flat is on the 2nd floor and tiny so we are looking for another place to rent whilst we save for a deposit. The problem is, everywhere around here is too expensive, I'm starting to panic that I won't find anywhere in time.

We still don't have a name for our boy. Girls names were easy! I have my heart set on Isaac but he hates it :(

Does anyone else NOT like the feel of the baby moving? I started feeling it last week and he's starting to kick alot more - it really freaks me out! It's reassuring but it takes me by surprise and feels a little gross.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Faerie and how nice of your friend to give you so much stuff.

I hope you manage to find somewhere to rent and I like Issac too.

Blimey Faerie, 4 girls at once, must be mayhem! I'm quite happy with just the one baby! ;) Lovely that you've got lots of nice stuff, must feel like Christmas has come early. :)

I haven't really felt much movement yet but I've had the odd washing machine feeling in my tummy which is a bit weird... I'm not sure I'll love it once I start getting kicked all the time! :o

OH is doing my head in with name suggestions, he keeps coming up with stupid Sci-Fi characters and action heroes... just choose a sensible name !!!!!!, and NO, Obi-Wan is NOT a sensible name! :p

I was horrifying my OH last night with greek mythology names, Persephone, Aphrodite, Zeus, he wasn't having any of it! I was only kidding, but it's so hard to think of a name!

20 weeks on Thursday! I still can't stop worrying that "everything is ok", if only there was a window I could peek into to check!

Just jumping in to say we didn't buy a bedding set with our LO and we've never missed it, we used fitted sheets for the mattress, and still do, and we finally gave a duvet and duvet cover at around 13/14 months, we got both of these from Ikea for under £20 :o Before that we used blankets but mostly sleeping bags. Just a thought for those who'd rather not spend a fortune on one :o although they are v cute.

We were joking about Thor and Apollo at work! My colleagues keep thinking of inappropriate names to go with our unusual surname.

When I was pregnant the first time I was really freaked out by my DD moving and I got quite upset about it. This time however I am loving feeling my baby move.
