We haven't brought loads & loads, not like I thought we would!
We have:
swinging chair (reduced in JL from £60 to £19)
Play mat (Aldi baby event)
Nappies (variety of vouchers)
Wipes (asda & aldi baby event)
Vests & a few sleep suits (a very excited nanny!)
Blankets (ditto above!)
Some muslin squares (aldi baby event)
Changing bag (pink linings sale)
Think we will buy some more after 20 week scan

We've not bought much as we've nowhere to put it, but we do have a Moses basket and some clothes, half from my over excited sister lol and I've just bought three cellular blankets from aldi for £1.49 each! Very bargainous lol
Just knackered myself out doing a shop for household stuff- cleaning products, mop etc didn't think something like that would be too strenuous for me! Also I almost got stuck as I stupidly thought I could stand at the side of the trolley at the side of the till. Rather embarrassing with everyone watching lol
Baked banana bread this morning, so glad I did, yummy as I remembered and cheered me up when I got backLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Am I the only person that hasn't bought anything for the baby yet?
Mrsbunny - my mum said to me yesterday that she got sick around the same time as she started feeling the baby move. She thought that was common and called the time 'the quickening' which I'd never heard before.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
I feel better now, thanks ladies! Hubby says I'm buying things too early!
Until we take the bed and desk from the spare room and I empty the drawers there's not a lot of space to put stuff! He agreed today that after the scan we can look properly but said that he's rather wait until the room is decorated and we have somewhere to put stuff. Fair enough I suppose!
Having said that, I have bought a mamas and papas cot bed today via facebook for the bargain price of £10! Need to get some screws for it but apart from that it's just what I wanted... good times!First date 10.2.2002

I've still not bought a single thing, waiting for the scan on 30th Sept then I'll prob start getting a few bits. Was looking at moses baskets and cots on ebay today but stopped myself bidding. Once I start buying I'm sure I'll go a bit crazy!0

We've just spent 2 hours looking at boys names ... Not one!!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Becca, we have loads of boys names but hardly any girls names. I am convinced that we are having a little girl so will need to think harder if I'm proved right!! I'm just not a fan of most girls names at all!
We've not bought much yet. Got lots of freebies and have made a little toy to hang on the pram when we get it! Only thing we've bought is an IKEA cot which was £7 on eBay!! Determined to get bargains!!0 -
I'm almost 22 weeks and we've bought nothing either! Need to de clutter to find the space first, plus want to wait til after the anomaly scan. But we've done a fair bit of online research and wandering in mothercare etc, and had a few chats re second hand items eg a moses basket promised by cousin, clothes promised by a friend...fran-o0

Oh my god if I get sicker when then happens ill loose the plot!
I was just saying to a friend earlier I honestly can't remember what it's like to not feel very sick. I've been feeling sick for 8 weeks now the feeling never goes away its almost normal now. I feel awful in the evenings I'm going to bed at 9 tonight.Becca, we have loads of boys names but hardly any girls names. I've had my girls name picked out for about 7 years lol
Boys names we can't agree on.
I haven't bought anything I think I'm too scared until the 20 week scan. It's silly really as its not like buying stuff will change anything.
But also I think it's just that I'm too sick to go shopping & even going online for too long makes me nauseous.
If I start feeling better in a couple of weeks I might see what bargains are out there!0
