OH and i went for a drive and got the car washed. Got a magazine to read later as OH is meeting his friends and i'm staying in.
Need to put the dried clothes away, hang some more out and put another wash on. But this can wait for a while.

Hi All
Hester, I work in a Primary school and that is enough for me, the thought of the older children scares me. I would imagine that your remit doesn't include taking abuse and being pushed over so I think a word with someone higher than the head would be in order.
Redruby - sorry to hear that your Dad is unwell again, hopefully the root of the problem will be found while he is in respite. Hugs to you all.
Halight - you are a good chap offering to bail everyone out, hope they are having a good time.
Just had chicken and veggies for tea, did the chicken in the slow cooker with some veg for the stock but ended up eating those veg too! It seems ages since I had a 'proper' meal so feel pleased with myself. Washing fairly up to date, just need to dry the bedding on the racks.
Enjoy your Saturday evening, not much on the TV so may have to watch a DVD instead. Take care. XX0 -
Hester - you shouldn't have to put up
with that at work and what awful language
from a child!!
Ruby - sorry about your Dad, hope they can help
him
Hope all in Brum have a good time
Made some bread in BM today, family said it was the
best one yet and is nearly all gone already!!
Went to town and visited CS for first time in ages, got a
lovely M&S cardie and a cook book "500 Soups".
DH had banned me from buying cook books after
I got 25 off a lady on Freecycle, but I said I would
use my new food processor more if I had soup recipes :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a good day, hugs to all xx0 -

Halight - sorry for not responding to your pm! i forget these things.
I downloaded 2 exercise apps onto my ipod, one is a challenge thing that is steps for places like piza, it's a proper work out! and then the 2nd was a nike one and it plays your music and tells you what exercises to do i.e running for 2 mins, then press ups etc. Really good fun! going to try to get back in to working out before work again as i feel really good when i do exercise and of course it will speed up my weight loss!!
OH is napping on the sofa, the pup is asleep too. He was sick again today, he keeps getting into the bins! grrr
watching come dine with me and one lady has a problem with eating rabbit. I never understand why rabbit is different to eating cows, pigs, deers etc?? It's SO free range it's ethically better than alot of meats... anywhoo thats a whole other thread i think!!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Hi,
Hugs to HH & RR & of course any one else who needs them.
Not posting as much these days as black dog is back & don't want to bring the thread down, still reading and enjoying tho.
Elona, do you have a recipe for the sausage & onion pie please? I'm always looking for ways to fill up 15yr old ds's hollow legs.
Hope the meet went well & everyone gets home safely,

RRuby just to let you know i am thinking of you and all your family please make sure that you all take 5 mins for yourselves
Hester my mum was a secondary teacher so none of the things you say suprise me which is sad but the Dhead should be supporting their staff
Thank you to all those who posted i will show my DD1 the thread I think its the cost thats worrying us all to be honest as we are on a DMP but OH earns too much to get anything but its tight for a family of 5 on 1 wage and also a year out would mean that she falls into the new fees in 2013
Halight Ive got my £1 aday money to put in the fighting fund for the Birmingham Possee:p0 -

No worries about the pm:)
I also don't don't why rabbit or pigeon is any different for cows, lambs or chickens in fact it's better for you as it's leaner meat , the thing has been running about all it's life.
Good luck with your new iPod apps:j:j and with the waight loss. It seems it's the time of year for it. Most people I know are at it men as well as women.:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0
