ShoeGal - Thank-You very much
I'm trying hard!
Badpenny - Thanks for your post. The monthly goals are there to make sure I'm not wasting away in the house. They seem to work :j
Well onto day 3 of the diet, feeling ok but very very tired. Makes it handy to control spending as there is no other food allowed at all so no sneaky mars bars or cans of diet coke.
I've decided from next month I'm going to manage my budget weekly, makes sense as I get paid weekly. My pay varied from week to week so will just work it out on the day, the most important factor being money for mortgage and bills obviously!

Spends today of £1.79 on cat litter
Put £5 into my savings tin.
Going to work out my weekly budget, very exciting weekend0 -
Day 4 of the diet and still going strong, only 10 days left after today :rotfl:
Worked on my weekly budget last night and thought it looked ok, had all the essentials in plus travel money, treats, food and personal spends. Then remembered that I'm (hopefully) going on holiday in summer:o. How could I forget? A few tweaks and should be fine. Have even factored in some savings for my yearly expenses (work registration etc) and xmas/birthday presents! Lets hope it all works out.
Back to work tonight boo! However should be a NSD :j0 -
Well done on the diet....unfortunately I can't follow any of those shake diets as I can't tolerate diary and soya milk is just gak !!
You are really focused and are doing really well. :T I really need to get my butt into gear and get organised with the NSD's and my debt free diary etc...oh and my to do list etc etc...lol

PAYDAY
Have done my internet banking so far. My account looked the healthiest it's been for years until I did some balance transfers. Was nice for the 5 seconds it lasted.
Have some things to buy, then my Dad is coming to mine to help fix some broken things in my bathroom :j.
Will update later
Happy Friday All0 -
Nice day today
Day 8 of diet, still 100% though looking forward to it ending!
My Dad came to visit and mended the broken bathroom bits :j. Nice to spend time with him even if he did moan about absolutely everything:o.
Spends today::o:o
£82  this is for an evening sewing course I've signed up for at the local college. Took it from the 'free' council tax money. Was going to try save it but thought I'd better book it now before I forget.
£22.45 - ticket for an event I'm going to in April
£2.99 - hack saw:rotfl:
60p - essential toiletries in Boots :j. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and deodorant. Came to £5 something but used the remains of a giftcard from last year.
£10 - months supply of Whiskas, the boxes of 12 pouches are 2 for £5 in the Co-op which is quite good. Aldi do their own a bit cheaper but my cat sticks her nose up at it!
£10 - into savings tin:j think this money may go towards my holiday, if I ever get one, rather than keeping it all year. If I do, I'll just start again on return from holiday.
Also cant forget the bulk of my pay transferred over to my bills account. Ho hum.
When I was in Boots today I got one of those £5 off No7 vouchers. I'm going to make it a mission to actually get something free/cheap with it as I never use them and am probably missing out. Oh, I also got the free magazine which had a leaflet in it about treatstreet, they are doing a 20% off new look voucher for next month! :j Woohoo.
Over the weekend I have to get some cleaning products, some gardening bits and a few things for my bathroom. Also have my Mums birthday coming up so will have a look for something nice.
Hope you all have a good weekend x

That evening sewing course sounds good - are you thinking of making some of your own clothes? I've always wanted to learn a skill like that!
They have 2 for £5 on whiskas in Tesco too, but unfortunately the whiskas my kittens like is not in that offer, they are far too fussy for their own good! Spent nearly £8 on 2 boxes compared to your £10 for 4![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59
