    Hi LittleBoots!!!
Wow you have a great list for March - thinking of doing one myself. Best of luck with it!
    xx

Thanks ladies, I just do these to stop me wasting away in the house, which is what I'd normally do. Going to try adding something different new/each month. This months one is the meal planning etc, oh and the gym. I'll do my best to tick them off! But for now its back to work :(.
  • Littleboots did take a leaf out of your book and even mentioned you on my diary page...!! Fame :)

It has helped me to stay focused on what I needed to do and am looking forwards to striking things off as they get done.

So well done to you, for such a good idea :A

Hope you have a great day

    bf xx

    Hello Diary

Well Tues and Wed were NSDs! I'm not actually part of the challenge but do make an effort to not spent my pennies on rubbish!

Today I went to AS*A and spent £14 on stuff, including nibbles for Saturday night and some cat treats. Still have to get veggies in but I'll pick them up in AL*I. Have still to meal plan, I'm not that creative and not too sure what freezes well so going to have a look on the OS boards for some inspiration.

I also have to buy a netbook or laptop. I'm currently using my ex's PC but he's coming to collect it at the weekend. Still have £100 I got from my Dad for Christmas (was sure to put it away before it got spent on everyday stuff like bus fares etc!) and may have to break into my sealed tin. I'll see tomorrow when I work out my weekly budget. The Ctax free months have come at the right time!

Its the last day of the detox today!!! Hurrah! Now just have to focus on eating healthily and being sensible. I may up my weigh ins to every two weeks just to keep a closer eye on things. I will join the gym next week . I hope to maintain my weight for a few weeks then try to lose the last few pounds then reassess things.

Oh and I have another week off work coming up from the 14th! The joys of keeping all your hols til the end of the financial year!

Tell me about it! I figure that as I hate wasting money I'll go! Hmmm we'll see! I think the gym do a four month option so may opt for that to see how I go.
  • I have a free gym at work but still can't get motivated to go....:o and my other friend pays for hers but doesn't go....I am just one of those peeps where excercise just doesn't come easy to :rotfl:

Not lazy, as quite active in job and try to do a minimum of 10,000 steps per day...well that was before I washed my DS step counter....

I have managed to have 3 NSD's this week but haven't joined any of the challenges just need to keep focusing on getting up and going to work at the moment feels like :wall: at the moment due to the not knowing about whether I am going to be made redundant or not....:(

Haven't even done my wii fit this week think I am allergic to it :rotfl::rotfl:

Enjoy the rest of the evening and will catch up with you tomorrow :)

OK so am giving this meal planning thing a go! Just went through the cupboards/freezer and will try use stuff up as able. So here goes

Fri - quorn and veg stirfry with rice and soysauce (got all the stuff, easy meal before I head to nightshift)

Sat - fajitas (have to get the veggies in)

Sun - veggie burger with cheese on a roll (need burgers and rolls, another easy pre nightshift meal)

Mon - chile with rice (need veggies, chopped tomsx2 going to make a big batch and freeze)

Tues - veggie spagbol (will make on Monday, need quorn mince, veggies, veg stock, more chopped toms and tomato puree)

Wed - veg slice things that are in the freezer and vegetables (pre nightshift)

Thurs - chile with jacket potato (need potato!)

That'll do for now I think, have a few cupboard staples to get so expect this weeks grocery bill will be a bit higher. I'll just pick up the veggies as close to the day I'm using them as possible.

And here begins the weekly budget. My pay varies each week so it will have to work out budget each week :o
My main priority is transferring enough to my bills account, this will usually be £900pm (including gym fees from next week ;)) but this month I only have to transfer just under £600 as theres some money in my bill account already.

So today I got paid £363.08

    Bills account - £170
    Travel - £10
    Savings tin - £10
    Food - £38
Yearly payments and xmas fund - £7
    Cat food/litter/treats - £4.50
    Housefund - £20
Fabulous fund (beauty treatments etc) :o- £10
    Personal Spends - £40
    Overdraft payment - £20
    Holiday Fund -£10

This leaves £23.58 which will go to the things I've probably forgotten, my overdraft or carried onto the following week.

I have transferred the personal spends, food, cat and travel money into a seperate account so will just carry that card around with me and leave the card for my main account at home :). The yearly payments (registration for work etc), holiday fund and xmas fund has been transferred into my savings account. The money for treatments will go into a money bank, I think a feeling fabulous fund is essential.

My overdraft is around £700 so will just chip away at this until its gone :). I have contacted payroll at work to change my taxcode as I was on BR so hopefully get a few pounds more in my bank each week!

So far I today I have spent £4.40 on food for the weekend. My food budget is more than usual this week as I have some cupboard stuff to buy and stuff I dont usually get in as I'm having the girls round. It'll hopefully be less next week.

I also treated myself to Glamour magazine :j with the change in my purse. There were loads and I opted for the one with the moisture surge :j. Happy with that plus a mag to read, its been a while!

Back on nightshift tonight :o, hope everyone has a good weekend
