Last day of July, where has the time gone?
Met my friend for lunch yesterday, lunch and MANY cocktails.
Have to rein this in a bit as all my money recently seems to go on cocktails...

Have been very unMSE and re-subscribed to sky. I got a good deal I'm happy with, had crunched some numbers beforehand and tis affordable . I got the movie package too, I can cancel that if I want so will wait and see if it's any good to me.

Made a wee budget to control spending. After bills my money is to be split into separate funds for savings/buffer/food/fabulousness/social stuff. I'm being very kind to myself . Managed to break laptop tho so annoyingly typing this on my iPhone. Will pop into the wee computer repair shop tomorrow to see how much it is to fix it.

Not much other news, ok no other news. Need to get out more

Working last night, not had many shifts this week but got plenty over next fortnight to balance it out

Am getting new blinds fitted, ooooh the excitement!! My Dad is paying for them instead of the carpets. I'll have to save for the carpets anyway. Getting black out blinds in my room which will make post nightshift sleep better, hopefully

Still haven't been to get laptop fixed. Oops

Have a few things I'd like to write about on here (stuff to get off chest etc) but it's a pain on the phone.

Hope that you managed to get your laptop mended as I know what a pain it is trying to type things on my blackberry...

Really hope you get the laptop situation sorted soon so you can update us properly. iPhones or similar are great for checking in but not for full online services.
