Hi LittleBoots, just wanted to say I've enjoyed reading your diary since I stumbled across it the other day.
Am impressed with your continuing exercise as I've been cursed with the lazy gene myself.I keep starting and stopping with Shred which I find torturous but do believe it works.
Need to lose at least a stone in weight atm and was absolutely mortified today when a complete stranger in the supermarket asked when I was due! I'm not pregnant! Surprised I didn't cry to be honest! I'm never wearing leggings again in public!!Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Hi Sashybo thanks for your message
I'm about to embark on another 6 week plan tomorrow. Diet and exercise, I feel if I set myself a challenge it gives me the motivation to see it through.
Finished four nights this morning then went for a wee wander through town to see if I could spot Brad Pitt. Haha
Not much to report...yet0 -
Oh did I ever mention I'm debt free?
I think that must have got lost haha!
Better mention it now as I may have to rack up a wee debt...all in a good cause though0 -
hi! dropping in to say the same as sashybo, nice diary! congratulations on debt-free-ness, how on earth can you forget to mention that?!
shashybo - i got offered a seat on the tube recently by a very kind lady for the same reason. i kindly declined, rubbing my belly in a pregnant way so as not to make her embarrassed about having thought my food baby was an actual baby bump...YNAB trialler. :rotfl::rotfl: I was mortified and just legged it! Bit more difficult on the tube though! :rotfl::rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £10,546, Car loan CC 0% BT £5200. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Welcome mollusk
.
I'm lacking the weight loss motivation right now but will get it back. Have to remember that thing about sticking to the perimeters of the supermarket as that's where all the fresh/ healthy stuff is kept. Wish they'd stop putting their sweets and choc on special offers.
When I say good cause I mean the debt will be for some home improvements. Mainly flooring and new boiler. It'd take me ages to save but would like them done before winter gets here. I have a credit card which sits in a drawer, the other week they offered a 0% interest on purchases until April so thought I'd take advantage
Diet going awful tho still doing my beauty stuff and will join the gym properly soon. Persevering with the cellulite stuff, not sure why as it's had zero effect0 -
hmmmm... are you *sure* you really need to be on a diet...? i gave up dieting about a year ago after yo-yo-ing for as long as i can remember (at least 12 years). i read a book called "overcoming overeating" which was written quite a long time ago but pretty much changed my life. in fact i think i only read the first few chapters and that was enough, i'd highly recommend it. couple that with watching a load of "how to look good naked" and you'll never need to diet again. i have no idea what you look like but i'm sure you're beautiful - especially as you clearly take care of yourself
sticking to the healthy parts of the supermarket and going to the gym won't do any harm though

exciting news on the boiler and the flooring (oh dear, how old do I sound!) - definitely agree it's worth doing this side of winter and worth borrowing the cash for.
gym/body image...hmm a tricky one. whatever makes you feel good without obsessing I reckon!
that book sounds interesting though, mollusk
I love the comment about the perimeters of the supermarket, that really made me laugh, and it's so true! problem is, have you ever noticed the wine is often on the perimeter as well :rotfl:0
