In a way I am VERY jealous that you get to decide totally how to do up your flat. OH tends to be VERY fussy. I would have liked wallpaper but OH doesn't like it at all so no wallpaper! (It's not all him saying no, he didn't want a bath, I'm getting a bath!)
Re the flooring it's fairly impossible to say if that's a good price or not seeing as there are so many variables! Like what type of timber, whether it's solid wood, laminate or engineered. And what quality the carpet is!
Horray for refunded holiday spending. Next have some REALLY nice beddinga the moment. (Well the new autum stuff) And I've sometimes got really good deals on bedding in TK Maxx. Lulu Guinness and Cath Kidston and Kylie stuff.
I saw some lovely bits in TK Maxx the other day, will have a better look tomorrow. I never used to be a wallpaper person but just having a feature wal, theres some amazing designs out there just now

just a quick one to say that sounds like great value for money on the flooring! If you like the folks and feel happy with them being in your home, then go for it, for me this is a massive factor in choosing tradesmen etc, so if the price seems ok as well, then all good!
Last time I had new carpet for my living room it was £900 but it was a big room and not cheap stuff. So hopefully that will give you an idea0 -
I think £825 sounds like a good price for the flooring that you have said, oooohhhh bet you can't wait to get the wallpaper on the walls and put your own personal stamp on your place - just what you want to do without having to take someone else into consideration :T
Only problem is when your searching for something and have the cash to splurge you can never see anything that catches your eye.
good luck with the decorating....:)

Urgh
Diet totally OFF this weekend
Took myself off to the gym yesterday while my Dad was painting, had a fairly good workout then went met my friend for dinner...and cocktails...lots of cocktails. We had a great wee night though.
So today I have eaten lots of cereal and biscuits already. I really have to get this last 11lb off, seems the hardest.
I bought some bits with my holiday money yesterday - new jeans (straight/skinny type cut), vest top, denim shorts. Also got some protein shakes as going to start a new diet on Monday (not today asplanned).
Got some Nivea cellulite cream too, months of squats/lunges/eating well/losing weight/taking up jogging has not had any effect on my cellulite. I have started body brushing everyday but I think I'm going to give myself a 2 week intensive challenge (starting Monday). Reduce caffeine as much as possible, drink more water, body brush, apply cream, eat well, exercise exercise exercise.
Sure you's all needed to know that
I am working tonight and tomorrow night so hope to eat well for the rest of the weekend then diet mode starts on Monday. As I keep saying!!
Hope you all have a good weekend.
Forgot to say, I have bought a MAC makeup voucher for a make up lessonjust have to book it now

Sounds good to me
Having just woke up (post nightshift) I feel very unglamourous!! And a bit sad at all the facebook posts from people out enjoying the sun! I had a good sleep though to cant complain.
Work tonight then 2 week challenge starts tomorrow. Yeeeeay0 -
just a quick one to say thanks for mentioning myfitnesspal - I downloaded it yesterday and have started already. Hopefully I can keep it up
my cellulite reduced massively after Italy - I can only put it down to loads of water (it was so hot so I had to keep drinking lots) and hardly any caffeine, as they were the only things I changed re. what I eat/drink.
I had a lovely body scrub last year at a spa, which made my bum and thighs unbelievably smooth - quite a violent one but it was amazing after - and I remember being very disappointed that I had no one to share the effects with! :rotfl: It lasted for a while too0
