  • I have an advantage. I am selling a 'one-off' property, not a box, and it’s rural, and not on a main road.
That’s also a potential disadvantage. I need a buyer who’s prepared to work for it!
Fortunately I can wait for the right person who – just as I did 20-odd years ago – will say ‘That’s the one I want”.
However, I’m NOT just ‘waiting for the right person to walk past’, I’m being my own agent, with a lot more to gain or lose than your High St EA and therefore with far more staying power!
  • Sorry for double post - MSE had a glitch!

I agree with Canucklehead with the caveat that you can add Gumtree to the list if you are in London.

I'm thinking of using housenetwork myself.

    Anymore opinions or experiences?

One thing I would say is that "progression" and updates have seemed somewhat thin on the ground in my experience.

In fairness when Ive rang them they have chased buyer & sols, but they havent done it without my prompting.
