WM been on and stuff drying as I type. HM soup from leftovers and additions for tonight - hope it tastes as good as it smells.

Have had the afternoon off and supposed to be doing OU stuff but as yet haven't started - too bust finding other things to do though I have managed to parcel up my Music Magpie CDs so they can go to the PO tomorrow.

Got some sardines (YS'd) in the freezer but don't know how to cook them or rather what way to cook them........any ideas?

EA been on again.another viewer on Saturday-whats going on.But her house isnt even on the market-if she likes ours she'll put it up straight away.Still ,can't complain about the interest ths year,I thought it would be worse than last year.I think ours is still too dear, but DH is reluctant to drop again- when you've built it with your own 2 hands over 2 years ,and put so much care into it ,it must be hard.

The other thing that keeps crossing my mind is that there is no way we'd get such a good deal on a mortgage as we have now,so potentially we could end up paying quite a bit more each month for something smaller.

I think people are trying to grab a mortgage fixed rate deal before they the rates go sky high.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
  • Afternoon All :D

I am here, and in one piece :rotfl: I feel a bit of a fraud actually :o ended up only being there for about an hour and a quarter, sitting in the canteen with my line manager doing my return to work interview and catching up. I was a nervous wreck, and never really slept last night, and had a massive panic in the car with OH - to the extent where he said that he was taking me home, and I could just leave  But it passed without incident; I really like her she is very like my favourite sister and there's no hidden agenda or double meaning, and she seemed genuinely pleased to have me back. So I am doing an hour a day next week, and we'll see how it goes from there. I only saw a couple of people I know, as I didn't need to go into the main part of the office, so it was all very low key and not intimidating or upsetting at all. Thank you all very much for the good wishes, and the pm's and FB messages, you are a lovely bunch and really helped. :)

After that, OH picked me up and took me for a wee bit of shopping, and then to Frankie and Bennys for lunch, so its turned out to be a lovely day. DS2 had a school trip today and has come home full of the joys of spring - he had a riot :)

nmlc you sound a wee bit brighter this week :)
Jayward good luck for the weekend xx

Dinner tonight is curried rice / biryani which I will see to shortly.

Hugs for all the poorlies and worried.

    Thanks again.:)

    Hi everyone,

I know its late but thought i'd post anyway.
Jackieg hope it went well today :)

    £80 for a tyre:eek: that's extortionate.

Went to my course today and basically sat there doing nothing, got an exam next week, so did a mock exam today.

Been in total agony with my knee again, so been sat resting again all day. Managed to pee someone off totally by accident, i've had to say i can't take her child and mine to a group tonight due to not being able walk. She ould easily have offered to take them but wouldn't, so now she's in a mood with me.

Were having chilli, and jacket potatoes tonight, its freezing here again, blooming ice brrr

    .

I used to be an EA - i'd never let soemone view a house if they werent in a position to proceed, they had to have a deposit or atealst have their property on the market or i wouldn't let them waste mine and my vendor's time.

    But thats just me!!
