Tax credit renewal - general questions (merged)

hi anyone out there waiting for there award notice0
-
I sent off my renewal end of June and haven't heard anything but have been paid up to last week. I checked my bank this morning and I have nothing in there from tax credits.
I am a single mum with 2 children, I have been self employed since January and obviously don't have a massive income due to starting up so I should be receiving something. Surely if I was not entitled to anything then I woulconfit be paid. Will be giving them a ring today to see what is going on but my daughters nursery fees have to be paid.
My wtc will stop wont they as my daughter finishes nursery and starts school on 10th September which isn't a problem but up until then I thought I would be paid.
You dirty little cheat. How does somebody, who has apparently only had 1 weekend away from their partner (who they also have 2 kids with and trying for a third) in 4 years claim as a single mother?Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

I have done the kids shopping online and currently have 5 massive boxes of toys in my back room. I have nowhere to store them. I don't have to pick up their bikes till Xmas eve so can stash those in my bedroom x
Didn't think of that one did I? Lol.
I am never normally organised but there are so many fab offers especially with kids toys etc will do everyone else's week before Xmas like every year.
1st November. Sounds like she's really struggling for money.I found it extremely hard picking my boys name. Took me months and I finally decided on xxxxxx-xxx, my daughters name is xxxxxxxx xxx.
We are currently trying for our third and we have already named him/her, To xxxxxxxx-xxxxx or xxxxxx-xxxx
21st October.
I'm actually really missing him at the moment. We have never been apart over a weekend so this Is a first in 4 yearsah well I can dream about him in my nice comfy bed lol x
As the title says my other half, children and me are hoping to move to australia before 2016.
My other half is a electrician so we can go in on his visa but only if we are married or living as man and wife for atleast a year. We will be getting married 2014-15 abroad.
I am a trainee hairdresser and will finish and be qualified to level 3 in 2014 but hairdressing or nail technician is no longer on the skilled list so I cannot apply for my own visa. Unless it changes again before then.
I'm just wondering whether any of you geeks have moved to Australia and what you had to do or any residents of Australia know anything about uk residents living in aus.
Have looked at the Australian embassy and passed the point test but I can only apply for a sponsored visa. Would it be better to go on the OH visa or get invited and sponsored? Any information would be great.
Thanks x xWe will have around 60k in saving to go with so we will be prepared.
And the one that proves its the same poster (check out her recent post on here):

Yes we can afford to go and private rent and pay the rent, which I have done myself for 4 years in my current property.i haven't lived off handouts. I didn't say we would be financially stable privately renting we have enough of the OH wage to cover the rent etc. we live off one wage as I am now looking for full time employment. There is no way we can afford to go for our own mortgage and privately rent so will privately renting for years to come now.
If I need help to move and help to get into the new house then I am more than entitled to help from the housing association. It is not my fault that I have to move out of the house. At least I pay my rent, I'm not on benefits and I am self employed and now looking for another job. I don't sit on my butt all day, I work my butt off pay all my taxes and NI all my council tax and rent myself so why should I not be entitled to help. We are not entitled to any help from anywhere else but if I didn't work and just sat on my !!!! all day then I would have it all handed to me.
.
Oh, so you've never had any tax credits then? How odd.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
